Amanda Bynes was released from a Pasadena psychiatric facility late Thursday (Oct. 30). The child star has been held for the past two week. Currently, Bynes is taking up her past ranting ways on twitter and roaming the streets of Hollywood, showing signs of instability.

Sources tell TMZ that the former Nickelodeon actress went before a hearing officer at the facility asking to be released. Although Bynes is on her meds, doctors still believe the star is mentally ill.

She has been updating her twitter feed at a rapid pace since her release, badmouthing her family for putting her in a psychiatric hold.

"My Dad is UGLY FOOLS," reads one post. "I am going to court with my lawyer today to fight my mother and father over control of my personal life and control of my finances," reads another tweet.

Other celebrities have tried reaching out to the She's the Man actress. As MStars News wrote, former Nickelodeon star himself, Nick Cannon has stated that Bynes is "someone who needs help." Cannon considered Bynes a "little sister" and has even stuck up for the troubled star. "If this was a person who was in a mental hospital, would you do the same thing?" he asked. "But just because she's someone that is a public figure, we feel like it's fun.... but no, this is someone who needs help." On Oct 8, before she was put in the facility Bynes was accused of shoplifting. MStars wrote that the actress was reportedly stopped by security guards at the luxury-shopping store Barneys New York for shoplifting a $200 hat, according to TMZ. After her erratic behavior in New York, her parents arranged for their daughter to return to Los Angeles to get help.
