Teresa Giudice of The Real Housewives of New Jersey has been serving prison time for bankruptcy fraud-related charges since the beginning of this year, but according to husband Joe Giudice, she has no intention of letting herself go while behind bars. When Giudice paid his wife a visit in prison, he found his wife is keeping up her usual TV-ready beauty routine. "She made us wait an hour[...]to do her hair. That was a little annoying," he told Extra.
Life in prison may be a shocking departure from the regular shopping sprees and lavish vacations she enjoyed during her RHONJ days, but not much seems to have changed for Teresa Giudice as far as her social life is concerned. "She's got a little group she hangs out with and does her thing with everyday and who she goes to the gym with and who she hangs out with and who does her hair and who does her nails, they have their little thing going every day," Joe Giudice said of his wife's new circle of friends. A source reportedly told E! Teresa Giudice isn't letting her fitness routine go, either. "She does cardio, bikes, weights and even Pilates. She does not miss a day, she does it religiously. She is extremely fit right now," the source said.
Back in October, Teresa Giudice was sentenced to 15 months in prison "after pleading guilty to bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud." Despite promising reports of an early release date for Teresa Giudice, Joe Giudice spoke to Extra about the challenges of looking after the couple's four daughters while his wife serves time, possibly magnified by recent cheating rumors and alleged foreclosure of the family's home. "You know what I mean when you have four kids you have to stay strong. "Her being away definitely makes me appreciate her way more, a lot more, and you know everything she did."
