MStars reported three weeks ago that the site ThinkMcFlyThink.com posted an article reporting that the shortlist for the role of Lex Luthor in the Man of Steel sequel known for now as Batman vs. Superman includes Denzel Washington at the top of the list, followed shortly thereafter by Idris Elba (The Wire, Thor, Thor: The Dark World). The Italian Distributor of 12 Years A Slave, BIM Distribuzione, has now apologized and recalled posters that were distributed to advertise the film. The posters featured actors Brad Pitt (who only appears briefly and is a producer) and Michael Fassbender (who had a supporting role) instead of the film's lead actor Chiwetel Ejiofor. Read More »

Earlier this month, director Bryan Singer announced via his Twitter account that the sequel to 2014's X-Men: Days of Future Past would be released in 2016. Though this was definitely exciting news for fans of the series, the announcement of X-Men: Apocalypse was reportedly not well received by the cast members who have to work on the film.
