"Good Morning America" news anchor Robin Roberts has postponed plans to undergo bone marrow transplant until next week in order to spend some time with family and attend her mother's funeral in Mississippi (which took place on Thursday, Sept. 6). Now she's back home in New York, resting up before she must head in for her transplant. In the meantime, doctors have ordered the popular American newscaster to gain some weight in order to prepare herself for the upcoming surgery and recovery. Read More »
Paul Gray, former bassist for the popular metal band Slipknot, died of an overdose in May 2010 at the age of 38. Now, two years later, Daniel Baldi (the doctor who looked after Gray before his death) has been charged with eight counts of involuntary manslaughter. According to reports, Baldi prescribed a large amount of narcotic painkillers to Gray (who had been battling an ongoing problem with drugs) which helped to the musician's fatal overdose. Many fans sat in avid anticipation while watching Thursday evening's 2012 MTV VMAs, ready to see how things would go when Rihanna and Chris Brown finally crossed paths. Frank Ocean's moving, heartfelt performance of the hit track "Thinking About You" was a smashing success at the 2012 MTV VMAs. The R&B crooner had the audience on their feet before the final chords and vocals were even drawn out. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas - but not for Prince Harry. And he can mostly thank the blonde, self-proclaimed "party girl" Carrie Reichert for that. She is the woman who came forward to describe her "wild Vegas" party night with the British royal (supported by the rather 'revealing' naked pics of Harry publicized earlier this summer). While Harry and his reps deny all of Reichert's juicy details about that infamous Vegas night, looks like the 40-year-old (who posed as a 32-year-old) is in deeper trouble in regards to lying about something much more serious - passing bad checks.
