According to a new study conducted by King's College in London, along with a slew of other health risks, it's now proven that smoking actually rots the brain by damaging memory, learning, and reasoning. The new study was conducted with 8,800 people over 50 years of age, and initially set out to prove how one's lifestyle could directly impact the mind as well as the body. Researchers were out to investigate the links between the likelihood of a heart attack or stroke and the brain from smoking, and ended up discovering that habitual cigarette inhalation also leads to certain unhealthy neurological effects. Actor Angus T. Jones stars as teen wise guy Jake Harper on the popular comedy sitcom "Two and A Half Men" - and the 19-year-old absolutely hates it. In a recent "testimonial" interview with Forerunner Christian Church, Jones discusses his strong commitment to faith and God - and totally rips on "Two and a Half Men." Hoping that the holiday shopping season may draw attention to Nicki Minaj's rerelease of her April, 2012 hit album "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded" (now deemed "The Re-Up"), the "Starship" songstress had the record (which now includes eight new songs) hit shelves Nov. 19. Even so, first week sales were rather low and below-par - and who did Minaj ultimately place the blame on for the less-than-stellar sale numbers? The big-names over at Walmart and Target, of course! SMTown, the popular K-pop sensation made up of individual S.M. Entertainment artists lauded for their vacation compilation albums, performed a successful show in Singapore at the prestigious "The Float at Marina Bay" in front of a crowd of 26,000 fans on Friday, Nov. 23. It's official - K-pop sensation Psy is the viral King of YouTube! His horse-riding summer dance hit "Gangnam Style" has finally beat out Justin Bieber's mega-hit "Baby" to claim the title for the most-viewed music video on YouTube. Psy personally announced the victory on Twitter on Saturday (Nov. 24) - as of this writing, "Gangnam Style" has accrued over a whopping 826 million views, approximately 20 million more than the Biebs' popular 2010 tune! Sports Illustrated confirms that 23-year-old Alexandra "Sasha" McHale, the daughter of popular Houston Rockets basketball coach Kevin McHale, died on Saturday (Nov. 24). The cause of the young Minnesota Duluth student's death has yet to be revealed, although Alexandra was recently forced to take a leave of absence from college following an unexpected illness. She was then hospitalized in Minneapolis for treatment of the auto-immune disease lupus. Her father promptly took a leave of absence from the NBA stating "personal family matters" - there is no set time for coach McHale's return to the Rockets following the devastating news of his daughter's passing. Popular comedian and rapper Katt Williams is currently being sued by livid California fans over a rather bizarre and non-existent Live Nation performance in Oakland on Friday, Nov. 16. According to the civil class action lawsuit filed in Alameda County on Nov. 21, Williams showed up to the show and remained onstage for a mere 10 minutes. And instead of actually performing a comedic act, the "Wild 'n Out" host ended up stripping onstage, verbally confronted a heckler, and even attempted to start a fight with at least three audience members.
