Looks like troubled Hollywood starlet Lindsay Lohan has found herself in hot water... again. The 26-year-old actress was arrested in NYC early Thursday morning (Nov. 29) and charged with misdemeanor assault after getting into a girl fight with a fellow partier outside a trendy Chelsea nightclub. But before the alcohol and flying fists, Lohan appeared to be having a rather great night! The "Mean Girls" star was spotted at a Justin Bieber and The Wanted concert at Madison Square Garden with her 18-year-old sister Ali Lohan Wednesday night before all the violent chaos broke out. 30-year-old Eric Hartsburg became a viral sensation during the 2012 presidential election for being that guy "who got a Mitt Romney tattoo on his face." Now, it looks like the Indiana native regrets his permanent patriotic ink decision. According to reports, Hartsburg can't wait to travel to L.A. next week for his first session with Dr. Will Kirby (aka Tattoff) to get the red-and-blue Romney logo officially removed. Doesn't look like Hartsburg is a big fan of the Mitt tat anymore - in fact, he's ashamed of the Republican's post-election remarks, especially the ones that allege President Obama won reelection because of "gifts" given to various constituencies. Reports confirm that 41-year-old David Detjen and 40-year-old Rebecca Detjen of Fairmount City, PA were arrested and charged Wednesday evening (Nov. 28) after police came across a shocking scene near New Castle, IN - 5 of the couple's 7 kids and their 18 cats jam-packed into the back of a moving van traveling cross-country. Apparently the family had come across hard financial times and was relocating to California for Detjen to see about a job opportunity. Authorities were tipped off about the overloaded cargo van (which left the northeast Wednesday morning) after an anonymous caller said a mother, a father, their seven children, and a number of felines were packed inside the box truck headed for the Golden Coast. The parents currently remain in the Henry County Jail on a bond set at $5,000 and both are preliminarily charged with four felony counts of neglect of a dependent. Read More »
A 10-year-old girl was arrested at her Colorado (Falcon District 49) elementary school after bringing her father's medical marijuana to class earlier this month (Nov. 13). The young student, who was handcuffed at the Evans International Elementary School and placed in the back of a patrol car, currently faces charges of possession of Mary Jane - and the girl's parents are utterly shocked. According to the father Carlos Figueroa - who is prescribed the medical marijuana for chronic pain, restless leg syndrome, and ADHD - his daughter understands that what she did is wrong and is sorry for her inappropriate actions. On a recent episode of "Live with Kelly and Michael," popular country songstress Dolly Parton appeared on a mock segment entitled "Dishing with Dolly," where former NFL star Michael Strahan asked if it would be appropriate for him to either refer to the 66-year-old starlet as "Double D" or "Dr. Dolly." Parton immediately shot down both nicknames, but found the humor in Strahan's entertaining suggestions and managed to laugh along with Kelly Ripa and the live audience. Of course, Strahan's nicknames were an attempt at flattery - one referring to Parton's recently receiving an honorary doctorate from the University of Tennessee and the other idolizing her rather well-endowed and ample figure. In a letter written to close friend Brig. Gen. James Shelton, ex-CIA Director David Petraeus admits that his highly-publicized and controversial affair with biographer Paula Broadwell was indeed a huge mistake - the 60-year-old former military official exclaims that he "screwed up royally." Even so, "Team Petraeus" will survive, and as of now Petraeus' wife of 37 years Holly staunchly remains by her husband's side despite all of his rather scandalous behavior. Jack Wishna, the president and CEO of CPAmerica and an infamous music "dealmaker," was found dead in the garage of his Las Vegas home on Tuesday, Nov. 27. The 54-year-old (popularly known as a big "wheeler and dealer in the gaming industry") apparently committed suicide by carbon monoxide intoxication. Wishna was a big-name in the gambling, hotel, and leisure industry and helped introduced some legendary celebrity figures (including Michael Jackson, Donald Trump, and Wayne Newton) to the fast-paced world of Sin City. Tennessee truck driver Ismail Aliyev has filed a federal discrimination lawsuit against the popular shipping company FedEx and the long-haul contractor GNB Trucking Co. for allegedly firing him for speaking with a Russian accent. Aliyev claims that he was fired from his position based solely on his foreign accent, even after offering to appear face-to-face in front of corporate higher-ups to prove his superior English-speaking capabilities. He was denied this opportunity and ordered to be promptly fired after receiving a complaint warning from an Iowa weigh station. Reports confirm that Signature Bank is currently suing R&B songstress Mary J. Blige and her hubby for defaulting on a loan worth a whopping $2.2 million. The lawsuit was filed at the New York State Supreme Court in Manhattan on Wednesday (Nov. 28) - the bank is seeking to recover the original loan sum plus an additional $58,000 in interest. The Grammy Award winner's production company Mary Jane Productions was also been named in the lawsuit - Blige's representatives have yet to comment on the songstress' defaulting on such a massive loan. It looks like Rihanna's crazy 777 Tour has finally paid its toll on the Barbadian songstress - RiRi emerged from a London hotel room early Wednesday morning (Nov. 28) after falling ill (from exhaustion?) for two straight days. The 24-year-old pop princess told fans that she started feeling sick after her recent performance on the "X-Factor," where she was showered with artificial rain. She was bedridden for over 50 hours following the gig, and finally reemerged from her luxurious U.K. accommodations around 2:30 a.m., looking pale and fragile and chomping down on an orange. Rihanna definitely seems to need a relaxing, stress-free getaway - and it looks like she's planning on taking one to Barbados for the New Year holiday, alongside on-and-off again boyfriend Chris Brown. Former NBA star Michael Jordan's love for comfortable cargo pants has gotten the Charlotte Bobcats owner banned from a posh golf course in Miami, Florida! According to reports, Jordan's trousers just weren't suave enough, so he was consequently kicked out from the swanky La Gorce Country Club.
