Jerry Seinfeld has spoken out about comedy legend's Bill Cosby's sexual assault allegations, saying that the situation around his comedian friend is "sad and incomprehensible" while on the red carpet for the premiere of Chris Rock's new movie "Top Five." As stars gathered for the premiere and comedian friends such as Cedric the Entertainer also expressed their worry, new allegations from three women about Cosby emerged. Speaking to "People," Seinfeld explained his reaction to the news regarding Cosby, saying, "I was very upset, very upset. Still upset. I don't know what to make of it, but it's just upsetting." "It's sad and incomprehensible," he told "Entertainment Tonight" online, which also reported on another veteran comedian, "Soul Man" star Cedric the Entertainer, calling the situation about Cosby an "unfortunate scenario," saying that "if the allegations have any truth to them, you want the truth to come out. You want justification for all the people. That's all you can really say." Read More »

New Taylor Swift Song 'Glitter & Ribs': 'Shake It Off' Star's Next Hit Performed By 'Billy On The Street' Host On 'Conan' [WATCH]

By jaymz-clements | Dec 04, 2014 11:40 AM EST

Could "Glitter & Ribs" be 2015's first Top 10 hit for Taylor Swift? The pop superstar has a new song to record and, while it might not be on her hit 2014 album "1989," it was written for Tay-Tay specially by "Billy on the Street" host Billy Eichner ... and judging from the video below, it sounds perfect for the "Shake It Off" star. The only thing it needs is perhaps a mention of a 2015 dating rumor or taking down an ex-boyfriend like Ed Sheeran or Harry Styles. As Billy tells Conan, the song centers around the most perplexing and confusing aspect of relationships: "Taylor Swift is writing about the most important topic, which is what happens when your boyfriend doesn't text you back, and I think that's so essential, Conan!" As "Jezebel" points out, "Glitter & Ribs" "fits perfectly into her signature girl-meets-boy narrative," considering it contains lyrical gems like: "He was a boy / I was a girl / What more do you need to know? / He was a boy, he walked through the door / He was a door-walking-through boy" and "You'll never know my heart like my heart knows my heart." Michael Sam Distraction: Is He Not In The NFL Because He's Gay? [WATCH]

By jaymz-clements | Dec 03, 2014 05:13 PM EST

The NFL's first openly gay player, Michael Sam, has revealed why thinks he was cut from the St. Louis Rams and Dallas Cowboys and is no longer on an NFL team ... and it has nothing to do with his talent. The defensive player, who came out before this year's NFL draft — told reporters that he still believes he has a future in football, and that the reason he's not in the league may have to do with his sexuality and about the bogus "Michael Sam distraction" rather than his talent as a footballer. When asked by TMZ why he's not currently on an NFL team, despite being drafted by the St. Louis Rams and then picked up by the Dallas Cowboys after being placed on waivers by the Rams, "I was the SEC Defensive Player of the Year last year, I don't think it had to do with talent." Even though Sam was a college star, the fact that Sam is gay caused many in football to wonder how it would affect his draft stock and his eventual acceptance into the NFL, with the "(New York) Daily News" even saying "most NFL experts blamed his size — and not the fact that he was gay" for his draft-day drop. Mike Ditka 'Embarrassed' For Rams Players In Michael Brown Ferguson 'Hands Up, Don't Shoot' Stance

By jaymz-clements | Dec 03, 2014 02:22 PM EST

Former Chicago Bears coach and current ESPN TV personality Mike Ditka has taken a hardline stance against St. Louis Rams players who showed their solidarity with the family and friends of Ferguson police shooting victim Michael Brown with a "Hands Up, Don't Shoot" stance before their game against the Oakland Raiders Sunday, Nov. 30. The players — Stedman Bailey, Tavon Austin, Jared Cook, Chris Givens and Kenny Britt — all came out of the St. Louis tunnel before their Oakland game with their hands up in the "Hands Up, Don't Shoot" protest gesture. Elderly white man Ditka, however, doesn't think they should have. Saying that the Rams players should be "embarrassed" for their political stance — presumably against innocent people being shot by those charged to serve and protect them — the former NFL coach doesn't "want to hear about this hands-up crap" and adds that Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson's "life is ruined." Jimmy Fallon Named 'Entertainer Of The Year': Is 'Tonight Show' Host Now King Of Late Night?

By jaymz-clements | Dec 03, 2014 12:52 PM EST

It has been the biggest of big years for "The Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon, having taken over NBC's flagship late night show from Jay Leno in February, spending 2014 interviewing almost every celebrity under the sun — from Bradley Cooper to Barbra Streisand — and then putting most of them in exceptionally funny situations and challenges. And now he has got an impressive accolade to top it off: "Entertainment Weekly's" 2014 Entertainer of the Year. That's according to "EW," which has named "Saturday Night Live"-alum Fallon its Entertainer of the Year and has the late night host on the cover of this week's magazine. With it comes a substantial feature interview with Jimmy Fallon, with plenty of examination as to how the married 40-year-old father of one has taken over the entertainment biz. In the highest praise possible, "EW" says that since taking over the "The Tonight Show," Fallon "turned the revered late-night franchise into the hottest party in town, a celebrity playpen full of games, music, surprise guests, games and good vibes all around." No Bono? No worries. It was up to a couple of star fill-ins — Bruce Springsteen and Coldplay's Chris Martin — to front U2 for the World AIDS Day concert in Times Square last night, Dec. 3, since Bono was unable to perform due to a pretty serious bike accident in Central Park two weeks ago. They were joined for the concert by hip-hop superstar Kanye West and the "reigning queen of country" Carrie Underwood for a show you can stream right here. West dropped "Jesus Walks," "Black Skinhead" and "Stronger," closing with "Touch the Sky," while Martin filled in for Bono, fronting U2's "Beautiful Day" and "With or Without You" before Bruce came out and dominated "Where the Streets Have No Name" and "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For."
