Mexican-American songstress Jenni Rivera died in a tragic plane crash over the rugged hills of the Nuevo Leon state in northern Mexico on Sunday, Dec. 9. While the singer's remains have been positively identified and returned to southern California, reports have it that Rivera's family is completely outraged that leaked footage from the crash scene (which includes a gruesome image of the star's severed foot) has gone viral on the web. One crazed Texas dad took the religious significance surround 12/12/12 way too far - 39-year-old Brent Troy Bartel allegedly carved a pentagram into his 6-year-old son's back with a box cutter to mark the 'Holy Day.' According to police reports, Bartel called 911 shortly after 12/12/12 began (approximately 12:10 a.m.) and told the dispatcher that he had just "shed innocent blood" by "inscribing a pentagram on my son."
