Unlike his predecessor, NBC's Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon has not endured any controversy, personal or professional, from his network counterparts. In fact, lately his biggest obstacle has been himself. As Star magazine reported, in the last few months, Fallon, 41, has had several accidents including ripping his finger off, chipping his tooth and cutting his hand open by falling on the glass of a broken liquor bottle. Speculation has since run rampant that the cause of the former SNL alum's problems is not clumsiness, but alcohol, and comedienne Chelsea Handler is taking full advantage of the boozy buzz in hopes of becoming The Tonight Show's first female host. Star magazine reports that Comedienne Amy Poehler will receive the 2566th star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. The ceremony for the 44 year old actress, writer and producer will take place December 3rd in front of the Hollywood Wax Museum. Read More »
According to a new report by the NY Post, two time Oscar winning filmmaker Quentin Tarantino lied about having spent time in jail. The news comes hot on the heels of the Pulp Fiction creator's controversial involvement in an anti police violence rally at New York's Washington Square Park last month. Entertainment Weekly has given their top spot this year to Academy Award-winning actress and Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence, naming her their Entertainer of the Year. JLaw, at age 25, has already racked up two Oscar nominations for Winter's Bone and American Hustle and an Oscar win for Silver Linings Playbook.
