Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino is being sued for copyright infringement. The over $100 million lawsuit alleges that the 52-year old Pulp Fiction legend stole the premise of his 2012 film Django Unchained, for which he won an Oscar for best original screenplay, from a 2004 WGA registered script titled Freedom. The suit, which also names the Weinstein Company and Columbia Pictures as defendants, was filed by Freedom screenwriters Oscar Colvin Jr. and Torrance J. Colvin. Read More »

Rihanna was forced to evacuate the Project Los Angeles nightclub amidst gunfire outside the Hollywood hotspot. Multiple Grammy winner Janet Jackson has postponed her Unbreakable World Tour due to an unspecified surgery. The 49-year-old singer started the promotional tour of her 11th album in Vancouver, Canada back on August 31st and continued through November. Miranda Lambert is getting backlash from PETA for posting a picture of herself wearing one of two fur coats given to her as Christmas gifts by her grandmother, Wanda Coker. She also posted a close-up of a coat's lining and embroidery. Forbes magazine has named Johnny Depp the most overpaid actor of 2015. The annual list is designed to justify the salaries of an actor based on how much money their films earn. Ironically in the last year, the Pirates of the Caribbean star appeared in two less than profitable movies: Mortdecai, co-starring Gwyneth Paltrow, grossed only $47.3 million on a $60 million budget, and Transcendence, co-starring Morgan Freeman, grossed only $103 million of its estimated $100 million budget.
