Paul McCartney is a huge draw on tour, and he still loves to do it. The former Beatles bassist recently did some recording in Seattle, where he invited former Nirvana members Dave Grohl, Krist Novolesic and touring guitarist Pat Smear onstage to rock out. A Virigina Tech student running for homecoming queen (and also apparently the face-behind-the-mask for the school's mascot), requested of music label Sub Pop that the band Nirvana send a video shout-out to support her cause. Both sides of the Jackson Family/AEG Live lawsuit are courting Conrad Murray, the doctor convicted of manslaughter for administering a fatal dose of propofol to Michael Jackson, to testify on behalf of their side.
