Taylor Swift 'Sweeter Than Fiction' Song to Debut at 'One Chance' Movie Premiere, Singer Performing Live at Toronto International Film Festival?

Good news Taylor Swift fans, Swift will be releasing a new song next week! According to Pop Crush, Swift will debut her new song "Sweeter than Fiction" while performing it live at the movie premiere for "One Chance." Swift co-wrote the song with fun guitarist Jack Antonoff and it will be on the soundtrack for the new movie. The movie's premiere is on Sept. 6 at the Toronto International Film Festival and the song will surely make its way online soon after her live performance. Read More »

ABC's hit show "Scandal" is getting a huge star to join the cast for season 3. The Hollywood Reporter reports that former "Friends" star Lisa Kudrow has signed on to play a recurring role this upcoming season in the hit drama starring Emmy nominee Kerry Washington. "Scandal's" season 3 premiere is just weeks away with its first episode set to air on Oct. 3 at 10pm on ABC. Kudrow, who has had a number of successful producing ventures with the shows "Web Therapy" and TLC's "Who Do You Think You Are?" will make her return to primetime TV this fall. Read More »

Stone Temple Pilots New Album 'High Rise': Band Announces Release Date of First EP With Chester Bennington as Frontman

The new Stone Temple Pilots, featuring Lincoln Park singer Chester Bennington as their frontman, have announced the release date for their new EP, according to NME. The Stone Temple Pilots will be releasing a new five-track EP titled High Rise on October 8th via 12Star Records. This is the band's first album release since their break up with former singer Scott Weiland. STP and Weiland are currently embroiled in dual lawsuits over their messy breakup. Weiland has basically said that the band will have to pay up in order to get him to go way. There has yet to be a full track listing released for the new EP, but according to NME, the songs "Out of Time" and "Tomorrow" will both be on the album. Read More »

The Beatles are going to be releasing new, old music this fall, according to Beatles fan-site WogBlog. The site appears to have uncovered the release plans for a second "Live at the BBC" Beatles album, featuring music not heard since it first aired back in the 1960's. If this report turns out to be true, Beatles fans will get to listen to the Fab Four's music as if it were new (assuming they never heard it live back in the 60’s). The question is, did Fox Sports 1's launch live up to the billing and will it be able to compete with ESPN? Starting on Saturday, two round the clock sports channels, Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2 began airing. The launch of the new sports network and ESPN's newest rivals comes with some big names, including legendary TV personality Regis Philbin. Lostprophets singer Ian Watkins' situation has gotten even worse. The singer has allegedly been put on suicide watch at Parc Prison in Wales. Watkins was arrested back in December of 2012 in the U.K. on charges of sexually touching young children, conspiracy to rape a one-year-old child, possession and distribution of indecent images of children, and possession of "extreme animal pornography." Well according to the Kansas City Star it all started after a British TV station aired a documentary titled "Crazy About One Direction" about 1D fans and how fanatical they can be.
