"Man of Steel 2" rumors continue to come in as the "Man of Steel" sequel has fans buzzing. Ever since the Comic Con 2013 reveal that Batman will be featured in the latest Superman movie, comic book fans understandably are excited. "Man of Steel 2" is expected to begin production in 2014 with a theatrical release in 2015. The Superman vs. Batman movie will feature Henry Cavill as Superman and Zack Snyder in the director's seat. WWE's SummerSlam 2013 pay-per-view is just around the corner and the rumors and news surrounding the big show are starting to heat up. The SummerSlam match card is starting to take shape with three matches confirmed including John Cena versus Daniel Bryan, CM Punk versus Brock Lesnar, and Christian versus Alberto Del Rio. There also are a number of rumored matches heading into the August 18th show at Los Angeles' Staples Center. Michael Ansara, best known for his role as the Klingon commander Kang in the "Star Trek" TV show, died on Wednesday at the age of 91. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ansara died in his home in Calabasa, California after battling a longtime illness. Reportedly his former publicist confirmed the news on Friday, August 2. "That's So Raven" star Raven Symone has been making headlines since her now famous Tweet on Friday where she apparently came out of the closet and revealed to the world she is a lesbian. The former "The Cosby Show" star tweeted, "I can finally get married! Yay government! So proud of you." However, Symone later put out a statement after realizing how much her Tweet was getting and said she was not getting married. WWE's new reality show "Total Divas" on the E! Channel is set to premiere tonight, Sunday July 28 at 10pm. “Total Divas” has been heavily promoted on both WWE programming and E! Network programming over the last few weeks leading up to the show’s air date. The stars of the show are the Bella Twins, Nikki and Brie Bella, who also are dating two of WWE's biggest stars John Cena and Daniel Bryan. Johnny Manziel aka Johnny Football has come out publicly to address all the criticism he has been facing involving his partying ways. The Texas A&M quarterback, won the Heisman Trophy in 2012, making him the first ever freshman player to win the prestigious award. Manziel; however, has been highly criticized recently over various incidents of photos and videos being released showing the quarterback partying. Robin Thicke's new 2013 album Blurred Lines is already breaking records and the release date isn't until July 30. Thicke's new single, also titled “Blurred Lines,” has got massive radio airplay and according to Hot New Hip Hop, the song has broken the record for the highest radio audience of all time! The “Blurred Lines” single also features Pharrell and T.I., reaching over 242 million listeners this week, topping the previous record of 188 million, according to Hot New Hip Hop. Smack Cam is a new trend that has gone viral on Twitter's Vine app that has a lot of people worried. #SmackCam involves people smacking other people in the face and catching the victim's reaction on video. The videos are then posted on Twitter using the Vine app. The trend has gone viral and while some of the videos seem like harmless pranks between friends, others seem alarmingly dangerous. Some people will smack the victim on the face with their bare hand, while others will put a substance in their hand so when they smack the person, the substance is all over the person's face. Radio host Kidd Kraddick is dead at the age of 53 according to a publicist (via Billboard). The host of the popular radio morning show "Kidd Kraddick in the Morning" heard around the U.S. died at a charity golf event near New Orleans. As of right now (Sunday, July 28) an announcement on the cause of death hasn't been made, but according to Billboard, a golf professional at the Timberlane Country Club described the radio DJ as looking ill on Saturday. Kraddick died Saturday at his Kidd's Kids charity event in Gretna, according to YEA Networks, the company that syndicates Kraddick's radio show. Read More »
Fez 2, the follow up to the hugely popular indie video game Fez created by Phil Fish has been cancelled. Polytron, the developer for Fez II, made the announcement on Twitter after Fish himself broke the news to fans on his Twitter account. This all comes allegedly, after extensive criticism online towards Fish, specifically from journalist Marcus Beer, co-host of GameTrailers' Invisible Walls Web show. It seems the online hatred toward Fish from Beer, who goes under the name @AnnoyedGamer on Twitter, and others has led to the cancellation of Fez II. Read More »
Dog the Bounty Hunter's wife, Beth Chapman, has a warrant out for her arrest. Dog the Bounty Hunter, real name Duane Chapman, is the star of his own bounty hunting TV show. Dog and Beth now have their own show on CMT titled, "Dog and Beth On the Hunt." Now it looks like the police are on the hunt for Beth after she allegedly got into some type of altercation with a group of teenagers while on a fishing trip with her husband in Colorado in July. Man of Steel sequel news is heating up as the latest rumors involve Man of Steel 2 being titled "Batman Vs. Superman." Originally it was believed that the Man of Steel sequel would come ahead of any Batman and Superman movie, but now it appears Lex Luthor as the villain may have to wait. At Comic Con 2013, Warner Bros. revealed that in 2015 Superman and Batman would indeed be in the same movie. According to Entertainment Weekly, Henry Cavill will be playing Superman and the actor playing Batman will surely be rumored heavily until the official announcement is made.
