Katherine Heigl is to star alongside Alexis Bledel in yet another romantic comedy involving a wedding, except this time the plot involves a lesbian couple coming out to their parents about their impending marriage. The darker context of this film, entitled Jenny's Wedding, and the contemporary struggles that are relatable to gays in the United States appears heart-wrenching and touching to say the least and the timing of the film's release couldn't be better with the Supreme Court's ruling on legalizing same-sex marriage in all fifty of the United States. The suspense thriller The Gift follows the story of a young married couple, Robyn (Rebecca Hall) and Simon (Jason Bateman), who come into contact with an old acquaintance of Simon's named Gordo (Joel Edgerton). After a few visits and some over-the-top gifts, the couple begins to feel not only uncomfortable but threatened by Gordo. Simon seems to think that Gordo is holding a horrifying secret Simon made over twenty years ago over his head. The couple ends up heading into a twisted situation of chaos, deceit and it seems like Gordo just won't leave them alone. There's the tense push and pull of a cat and mouse situation between the couple and Gordo, but also that deep dark secret that Gordo is either making up or will eventually reveal. Read More »

Although Danny Elfman is a phenomenal composer having a talented range of projects such as The Simpsons to Fifty Shades of Grey, it's safe to say that Tim Burton and Elfman have had one of the best relationships of their work during the past thirty years. The pair has created some of the most beautifully sad films. Elfman has always scored Burton's films and this will go into greater depth with the upcoming series of concerts, Music from the Films of Tim Burton. These concerts run from July 6th until the 12th. When talk of the Emmy Awards comes up recently, it's that Chris Pratt (married to actress/comedian Anna Faris with whom he's recently had a son with) may be up for his first nomination for the last season of "Parks and Recreation" this year. According to Golden Derby, there is buzz around Pratt's name now that he has become an established movie star as well. Joe Manganiello (as "Big Dick Rickie") returns to the screen in Magic Mike XXL with the support of his loving fiance Sofia Vergara, and his zeal for the already released sequel should get anyone excited to see both the sequel along with its predecessor. With an exclusive interview last week with PopSugar, Manganiello admitted that the film is a comedy and that this time around it is by far an ensemble piece where everyone is having fun and that the laughs are most certainly planned.
