Avicii 'Wake Me Up' Release: 'Levels' DJ Premieres New Song & Sound, [LISTEN] to First Single from Debut Album 'TRUE'

Avicii 'could be the one' to take electronic dance music to a whole new 'level' with the premiere of his newest single ''Wake Me Up." While the DJ's 2011 dance anthem, "Levels" helped to mainstream EDM a few years back, Tim Bergling's first song off of his upcoming album, 'TRUE,' can be considered anything but a typical house track. Avicii teased his new unexpected sound with a unique set during Miami's Ultra Music Festival back in March. It featured live instruments and a kind of country twang that left puzzled fans wondering if they were supposed to "do si do" rather than "beat the beat." The wait for Avicii's highly anticipated new sound is finally over as the Swedish DJ released his first single entitled 'Wake me Up' on June 25th in the US (LISTEN below). Superstar DJ Avicii opens up his "Ultra" exclusive pop-up hotel, The Avicii Hotel, to coincide with Ultra Music Festival in Miami. As Miami New Times reports, between Friday, March 15, and Monday, March 25, the "Levels" DJ will take over the Marlin Hotel in Miami Beach on 12th Street and Collins Avenue.
