Though we've heard some damning rumors surrounding Channing Tatum's upcoming 20th Century Fox, Marvel comics movie adaptation of the X-Men character Gambit, we have some great speculation to share with you this week. After many reports claimed Tatum was close to dropping out of the project, thus leading us to suggest our top five actors to replace the star, it looks like everything has worked out and Jenna Dewan's husband is still leading the film. This week, a shortlist of actresses has allegedly leaked, with three familiar names on top of the casting list for the 2016 movie's love interest, Bella Donna Boudreaux. 5 Actors That Could Replace Channing Tatum in 'Gambit'

Some really concerning news broke earlier this week when reports claimed that Channing Tatum could step down as the star of the highly anticipated Gambit solo movie based on the Marvel comic book character from the X-Men series. According to reports and rumors, the Magic Mike XXL superstar is apparently in some sort of dispute with 20th Century Fox, which is extremely disheartening considering Tatum just helped skyrocket the hype around the movie earlier this month at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con. We're still waiting on a confirmation on his departure from the film and whether or not the movie will even be made, but for now we've decided to list our top five choices of actor that could replace Channing as Remy Lebeau in the 2016 movie. Magic Mike XXL star Channing Tatum had fans very excited when he showed up at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con panel for Fox's upcoming Marvel Comics movies with a haircut to match his next role as the character Gambit in a solo project. He was even greeting comic book legend Stan Lee while wearing a Gambit t-shirt (pictured above), but did we get our hopes up too soon? According to new rumors, the previously confirmed project has hit some kind of agreement dispute with the actor, which means filming could be affected and the whole project could be cancelled!
