Ylvis’ song “The Fox” quickly became a viral video hit on YouTube this summer; so of course Jimmy Fallon invited the Norwegian music sensation on to perform for the first time on late night television. Just as the Late Night crew does with many guests, the Roots joined Ylvis for this live version of the song. The world-famous purveyors of aimless, weird-for-the-sake-of-weird psych-pop got all gussied up in scuba gear to perform "Plenty Of Girls In The Sea" (because that's not how that saying goes and the song title mentions water.
