You'd have to think that right now Donald Trump is the boisterous Republican candidate New Jersey Governor Chris Christie envisioned himself to be. Out of nowhere, Trump has soared while Christie continues falling short of the right-wing presidential nod. In order to save himself the Jersey Governor has announced he will be returning to Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show marking his 5th interview with the host. Christie believes the appearance will help boost recognition as his last few appearances showed a lighter side of him. Whether or not you're a fan of Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show, it appears safe to say that NBC is. The network has just extended the comedian's contract to 2021. NBC exec Bob Greenblatt announced Thursday that Fallon's contract will be stretched out six more years, believing the former Saturday Night Live player to be a "versatile star." Greenblatt also noted that he and everyone at NBC are fans of Stephen Colbert, who will premiere his Late Show this coming Sept. 8. Read More »
Jimmy Fallon was in high spirits last night during his Tonight Show return. It was the first time the former Saturday Night Live player stepped onto the NBC stage since having seriously hurt his hand a couple of weeks ago. And while some attributed Fallon's nearly-amputated finger accident to him being intoxicated – as pictures were taken of him partying it up before the incident – the host explains that it all happened because of his wedding ring. During the rant, he seemed to offend Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon's newest Spike, LL Cool J-hosted series Lip Sync Battle –– a show in which celebs battle it out for the title of Best Lip Sync-er...or something like that.
