Reports confirm that Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle was arrested for possession of marijuana early Wednesday morning (February 4). According to the infamous gossip webloid TMZ, the football star's unnamed baby mama claims that he also pulled a gun on her right before the arrest. Read More »
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon has been suspended for the entire 2015 NFL season after failing a mandated drug dest and violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. Gordon tested positive for alcohol while under probation following a DUI in July last year. The news comes just a day after it was revealed that rookie Browns backup quarterback Johnny Manziel had voluntarily entered a rehab treatment facility in Ohio. Read More »
Sunday's NFL Super Bowl XLIX between Tom Brady's New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks of Russell Wilson drew a record 114.5 million viewers, becoming the most watched show in US television history. At halftime Katy Perry, her dancing sharks and a living scarf drew 118.5 million viewers before the broadcast hit 120.8 million people during the game's nail-biting conclusion, where Seattle coach Pete Carroll and quarterback Wilson combined to call a baffling passing play, which was intercepted by the Patriots. LeBron James has come out in support of Cleveland Browns backup quarterback Johnny Manziel, who is signed to his marketing company and recently announced that he was voluntarily going into rehab. The NFL will run a 'No More' anti-domestic violence PSA during the 2015 Super Bowl match up between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks. It comes after a year where the NFL has been rocked by abuse scandals, including the Ray Rice elevator incident where the Baltimore Ravens running back knocked out his then-fiancee, and the Adrian Peterson child abuse trial, where the Minnesota Vikings running back pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor reckless assault charge. The NFL have been running 'No More' domestic violence ads all season -- featuring celebrities and former NFL players -- but this marks the first time an anti-domestic violence ad will be shown during a Super Bowl.
