Huge Boxing Statement From World Champion

It seems that the sport of boxing is back on the up, and most noteably the heavyweight divison. Two names stand out in particular. Wladimir Klitschko the heavyweight champion, and Anthony Joshua, perhaps the most exciting prospect the sport has ever seen. Despite being at the opposite end of their careers, many hoped the pair could one day fight, but it seems unlikely that they'll ever have a feud, with a friendship of sorts blossoming. Boxer Stapped On Holiday

The boxing world are in shock today, as they've learned that world welterweight champion, Kell Brook, has been stabbed in the leg, and he's been hospitalized in this tragedy. It's believed he will be okay, with the worst outcome being a delay on one of his expected fights against Floyd Mayweather Jr, Shawn Porter, Amir Khan or Manny Pacquiao. The British boxer won the title last month against U.S. star Porter, and he was on holiday in Tenerife, but a dispute ended badly on Wednesday evening. Read More »

On October 11 at the O2 arena, some of the world's best boxers will be in action. London is one of the best places to be, and that will most certainly be the case during that weekend. The fights will be live on Sky Sports in Britain. Top heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua will fight Denis Bakhtov for the WBC International Heavyweight title, while Lee Selby, Joel Brunker in a final eliminator for the IBF World Featherweight title.
