Jimmy Snuka Charged in Death of Girlfriend

Jimmy Superfly Snuka is a forefather of Samoan heritage in professional wrestling and is the main inspiration for WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley getting into the business. Today the bright lights of his legendship dimmed a bit when it came out that he has been charged with one count of third-degree murder and one count of involuntary manslaughter for the death of his girlfriend back in 1983. When Wade Barrett first showed the world his Bad News Barrett gimmick he went over with the crowd quick. His haughty verbal attacks on legends and anytime somebody wanted to have fun were ruined by Barrett getting on a 20-foot high podium and delivering the days bad news. Sadly a long injury leave slowed Barrett's momentum and now all signs are pointing to the former Intercontinental Champion being written off television. Apparently he has changed his name on twitter to his real name Stu Bennett, and on top of that, he tweeted out he was "going home." Read More »
