WWE Doctor Suing CM Punk

The fallout between WWE and its once longest-reining modern era champion CM Punk is a sad one for fans. Between burnouts from the harsh wrestling schedule, and creative differences with WWE's writing staff, Punk walked out the door the night after the Royal Rumble. Since then Punk has called out one particular doctor in the company for not noticing a staph infection and now that doctor has fired back. Court documents reveal that WWE's doctor Chris Amann filed a Libel/Slander lawsuit against CM Punk and independent wrestler Colt Cabana for that revealing CM Punk podcast on Cabana's show. Stephanie McMahon Says Darren Young's WWE Character Is Not Gay

Darren Young is the first wrestler to come out as gay while still at the top of their game. Other wrestlers to announce they were gay, but did it while not on any active roster, are current WWE agent Pat Patterson and the now-deceased Chris Kanyon of WCW fame. Young's announcement was a big deal for the current WWE Tag-Team champion and he has done his best to champion LGBT rights.
