The design of the Sony Xperia XZ Premium is an enhancement over its predecessor and the phone uses Gorilla Glass 5 on the front as well as back. This makes the device look gorgeous, however, it also makes it feel slippery and smudged with fingerprints, reported PCAdvisor

The antennas are located at top and bottom panels of the phone. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium supports 1Gbps LTE speeds. The phone also has a USB Type-C port that supports QuickCharge 3.0. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has IP68 certification which makes it dust and waterproof smartphone.

The most striking feature of Sony Xperia XZ Premium is its 4K display with 807 ppi. It is one of the first smartphones to have an HDR screen that boosts color range and color reproduction, reported AndroidAuthority. The smartphone is equipped with a 19 MP camera that can record 720p video at 960 fps making it the first phone to record at such a high frame rate.

The Sony Xperia XZ Premium comes with 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM and microSD storage expansion. The smartphone houses a 3230mAh non-removable battery and supports fast charging. The power button also houses the fingerprint reader, however, the phone sold in some regions will not house the fingerprint reader.
