Matthew Stafford and Jim Caldwell would be forgiven for thinking they had a long flight home from London, but a miraculous, second-half comeback soon changed that. The Atlanta Falcons had a 21-0 lead and looked to be heading for a Wembley Stadium win, but the Detroit Lions pulled 22 points back, grabbing the 22-21 win. But it was bad news for Nick Fairley.

Fairley suffered an in-game injury, and he needed teammates and trainers to help him off the field. The injury has added to their defensive tackle crisis, but the victory will still make for a pleasant flight home. The Lions have had injury after injury, and many other roster dramas, and perhaps they will be looking to add free agents or players via a trade before the upcoming trade deadline.

Rumors have suggested they may trade their injured receiver Calvin Johnson.

Caldwell knows little regarding the injury. He explained: "I'm not quite certain where he is right now in that sense, but obviously when you have to carry him off the field, it's not the greatest news. But we'll see what the doctors say about it."

Teammate Ndamukong Suh added, "I just saw him grab his leg and it kind of went from there. There's so many things going on, it's so fast, I just saw him grab his leg and that's it. I'm not sure."

Can the Lions continue their impressive form, and just how far can they go this season? Everything regarding form just seems to be going in their favor.
