We recently learned that young actor Tom Holland had been cast as Peter Parker in the upcoming Marvel and Sony reboot of Spider-Man and other Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, but when can we learn more about the upcoming projects? Well, Marvel head Kevin Feige opened up this week to a number of publications about his company's future, and dropped some teasers and spoilers about what type of new villains will appear in the solo film and more. "Right now we're interested in seeing villains we haven't seen before," the studio boss told birthmoviesdeath earlier this week.

In other words, we won't see another incarnation of Green Goblin in this movie, which might be refreshing to fans of the comic book series. We definitely had enough of him. What villains would you like to see Tom Holland take on in this 2017 blockbuster? Share your thoughts and opinions on this subject in the comments section below!

Feige also revealed that, while the other MCU movies fit into certain genres of film, the rebooted Spider-Man project would relate closest to a "coming-of-age" film in the vein of iconic director John Hughes and his series of movies.

"Spider-Man will be a 'John Hughes' movie," the Marvel boss told Slash Film, without sharing much more detail, though he does breakdown the importance of Spider-Man in the MCU in a new interview with Zap2It, which you should definitely check out.

We're of course drawn to Hughes' movies like The Breakfast Club and Pretty in Pink because the new Spider-Man film will take place in High School, but what else can we expect?
