Both Marvel Studios and Warner Bros. have established an expanded cinematic structure involving numerous superheroes and villains from different comic books coming together in a number of star-studded movies, and it looks like Fox could do the same. News broke earlier this month that Ex Machina breakout star Alicia Vikander had dropped out of the Assassin's Creed movie, starring her real-life boyfriend Michael Fassbender, which has a release date set for December 21, 2016. Though we'll surely miss this actress in the film, Fox has already replaced her with the Award-winning starlet Ariane Labed, who will portray a female Assassin in the movie adaptation of the popular Ubisoft video game.
