'Doctor Who' Anniversary Special Beats 'Catching Fire' in Theaters

The BBC's Doctor Who 50th anniversary special episode, "The Day of the Doctor," was presented in movie theaters over the weekend and ended up brining in $10.2 million in the box office. In fact, the 75-minute special even beat out blockbuster powerhouse The Hunger Games: Catching Fire with higher per-screen averages on Monday. Quentin Tarantino is Currently Writing a Western Movie

Quentin Tarantino won the Academy Award for Best Screenwirter for his hit film Django Unchained, so it might not come as a surprise that he recently revelaed that his next project will be in the same vein as this film. While appearing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Tarantino explained that he is in fact working on a new script and that it falls under the western genre much like Django.
