Japanese police report that U.S. sailor Samuel Lewis Stiles was found dead at the Haiki train station in Nagasaki Prefecture early Sunday morning (Oct. 28). Police are currently investigating whether 2nd Class Petty Officer Stiles' death was an accident or crime. Stiles was dressed in civilian clothing and had no personal belongings on his body at the time of his death, but CNN reports that the sailor was discovered "surrounded by [several] alcoholic drink cans." Looks like pop star Avril Lavigne served as the inspiration behind ex-husband Deryck Whibley's rather amusing Halloween costume this year, and Lavigne's current beau Chad Kroeger of Nickelback is not very impressed or amused. Whibley decided to take the couples-costume themed route for Halloween 2012, dressing as the punk-pop princess Lavigne while his girlfriend (model Ari Cooper) took on Kroeger's grungy, rocker signature look. Funny - yes. Somewhat rude and offensive - probably. Although Lavigne and Whibley were supposedly on "good terms" following their 2009 divorce, maybe her sudden engagement to Kroeger over the summer took the Sum 41 front man by surprise, and he felt the costume jab appropriate. The East Coast has yet to experience the brunt of Hurricane Sandy 2012 yet, but already a majority of Jersey Shore hot spots are under water because of major floods brought about by the dangerous Super Storm. The 31-year-old songstress looked very Nick Minaj-esque with a poofy, pick-and-purple wig topped with a tiara - but what really turned heads was her hip-hugging, cleavage boosting black dress embellished with a bright orange bra, sheer fishnet stockings, and some killer knee-high boots. The popular R&B singer/songwriter and Grammy Award winner Toni Braxton filed for bankruptcy back in June 2010, claiming that she owed between $10-50 million in debts. Now, reports have it that Braxton fraudulently transferred her estranged husband Keri Lewis a whopping $53,490 in order to avoid paying back debt creditors. Pop star Christina Aguilera's weight has fluctuated in the public's eye for years - now that the "Lotus" songstress is currently sporting a fuller figure, some critics are harshly slamming the 31-year-old as "fat" and "disgusting," and Adam Levine is pretty pissed off about it. X-tina's "The Voice" co-star recently spoke out against such bullying, insisting that Aguilera's weight is "none of their business" and that such critics "need to grow up."
