Alabama vs. Chattanooga Football 2013 Preview

By scott-taylor | Nov 23, 2013 11:10 AM EST

It's crunch time for the number one ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. The undefeated Crimson Tide once again control their own destiny with just two regular season games remaining in the 2013 college football season. At 10-0 and dominating nearly every team in their path, Nick Saban's squad will play at home against the unranked Chattanooga Mocs. Haven't heard much of the Mocs? You're not alone. This should be nothing more than a warm-up game for the Crimson Tide heading into their regular season finale against Auburn. Read More »

Kanye West To Premiere Music Video On 'Ellen'

By scott-taylor | Nov 17, 2013 12:20 PM EST

Kanye West is becoming quite the daytime TV talk show guest. The "Yeezus" rapper is set to premiere a new music video on "Ellen" on Tuesday. Ellen DeGeneres herself broke the news on her Twitter account on Friday Tweeting, "Guess who just told me he's premiering his new music video on my show next week? The one and only @KanyeWest! Thank you, Yeezus." I'm guessing Ellen was the next choice after his mother-in-law Kris Jenner's own short lived daytime TV talk show "Kris" got cancelled. Read More »

Box Office Results: 'The Best Man Holiday' and 'Thor: The Dark World' Have Big Weekends

By scott-taylor | Nov 17, 2013 11:26 AM EST

It's rare that there are any big surprises when the box office results come out every weekend. Now a days the entertainment industry is very good at forecasting how various movies will do at the box office before the movies even come out. However, once in a while you get a box office surprise, which may be what you could call "The Best Man Holiday." The movie is the first big holiday movie of the season and has garnered quite a bit of press, but I don't think anyone expected it to do as well as it's projected from early box office results. According to Deadline, "The Best Man Holiday" will end up in second place behind superhero blockbuster "Thor: The Dark World." Read More »

Miley Cyrus' new "I don't care what people think" persona may land the "Wrecking Ball" singer in some hot water. Her twerking performance with Robin Thicke at the MTV VMA's was harmless enough despite the many complaints about its lewdness. However, her most recent stunt at the 2013 MTV European Music Awards may get some people in trouble. The singer went on stage and allegedly smoked a blunt during her acceptance speech and now someone may be paying the price. Read More »

Johnson holds a commanding 28-point lead over Matt Kenseth who will hope for a miracle. It wasn't always such a commanding lead though. Heading into last week's race Johnson and Kenseth were neck and neck. Read More »

Alabama Crimson Tide vs Mississippi State Bulldogs Preview

By scott-taylor | Nov 16, 2013 12:39 PM EST

The number one ranked Alabama Crimson Tide are just a few games away from heading to yet another national title game. The undefeated Crimson Tide will face the Mississippi State Bulldogs who enter tonight's game at 4-5 on the season and just 1-4 in the SEC. Alabama is 9-0 on the season and 6-0 in the SEC. If the Crimson Tide win tonight and in their final two games they are a sure bet to playing again in the national title game. The only issue Nick Saban's Crimson Tide may face tonight is the possibility of overlooking the Bulldogs. The Crimson Tide will close out their season on Saturday Nov. 30 against the Auburn Tigers and that is the game many fans already have their eyes on. Read More »

Oklahoma State Cowboys vs Texas Longhorns Preview

By scott-taylor | Nov 16, 2013 12:21 PM EST

Arguably the biggest college football game of the day will be taking place at 3:30pm ET in Austin, TX. The No. 12 Oklahoma State Cowboys will go on the road to face the No. 24 ranked Texas Longhorns. Although the Longhorns don't have the same allure that they had five years ago they are still a Big 12 powerhouse after winning six straight games. The Longhorns have yet to lose a game in the Big 12, but they will have to overcome numerous injuries in order to upset the Cowboys. This game may not have national title game implications, but it will go a long way in figuring out the Big 12 championship. Read More »

By scott-taylor | Nov 16, 2013 11:41 AM EST

With just a few games remaining in the 2013 college football regular season the Georgia Bulldogs will try to remain in the top 25 while facing the seventh ranked Auburn Tigers. At the beginning of the season the Bulldogs had so much promise with one of the best quarterbacks in college football in Aaron Murray, but three losses later and they are just trying to salvage what they can from a disappointing 2013 season. Meanwhile, Auburn has surprised many with their 9-1 record. The Tigers, although too far out to have national title game aspirations at this point, will look to finish the season in the top ten. With just three games remaining in the 2013 college football season the undefeated Ohio State Buckeyes find themselves right in the mix for the national title game. The Buckeyes had a bye week last week, but because of an Oregon Ducks loss, Ohio State is ranked third in the nation. The Buckeyes and Florida State Seminoles both moved up a spot in the AP top 25 rankings behind the top ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. Today, the 9-0 Buckeyes travel to Illinois to face the 3-6 Fighting Illini. While an upset is unlikely, the Buckeyes not only need to win, but also they need to beat Illinois convincingly to prove they deserve to be in the national title game. Read More »

Chris Brown is on the road to recovery, or at least that is what it appears. After a little more than two weeks into his rehab program, TMZ is reporting that Brown has checked out. Whether this is a good thing or band thing remains to be seen. Brown checked into a rehab facility in Malibu after he allegedly got into a street fight in Washington D.C.
