The first of what will surely be a lot of videos and photos from the filming of the highly anticipated "Batman vs. Superman" movie has made its way online. The Warner Bros. film, directed by "Man of Steel's" Zack Snyder, reportedly was filming for "Batman vs. Superman" Saturday night in Los Angeles at a local college football game. There are just a few more races left in the 2013 Sprint Cup Series, making today's Camping World RV Sales 500 race at Talladega Superspeedway a huge race. The race will begin this afternoon at 2:21pm and ESPN's broadcast of the race with their pre-show coverage will start at 1pm. The current Sprint Cup Series leader, Matt Kenseth, will begin the race in the twelfth position after Saturday's qualifying session was rained out. Adele tweeted last week that she had passed her drivers test and according to The Telegraph the driving instructor, Noel Gaughan, didn't even know who he was giving the test too! Today is week seven as teams near the halfway point of the 2013 NFL season. There are a number of big divisional games on the schedule including the New York Jets hosting Tom Brady and the New England Patriots and the Pittsburgh Steelers hosting the Baltimore Ravens. This week's Monday night game will feature the winless New York Giants hosting Adrian Peterson and the Minnesota Vikings. On "Thursday Night Football" the Seattle Seahawks improved to 6-1 on the season by defeating the Arizona Cardinals. The biggest game this week; however, is the "Sunday Night Football" matchup featuring the return of Peyton Manning to Indianapolis to face the Colts. Banksy, the British graffiti artist struck again in New York City. His latest work is called "Sirens of the Lambs" and it involves a meat truck that was spotted in South Brooklyn and the meatpacking district this past week. The graffiti artist, political activist, and painter used stuffed animals in his latest piece of art to protest the meat packing industry. Read More »
Celebrity attorney Gloria Allred is not one to pass up an opportunity for some media coverage for her and her clients. Allred has once again proven this by making the most of Kanye West's appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." West went on Jimmy Kimmel's late night show to patch up his differences with the funny man and he went on a rather long rant about a number of topics. This weekend's box office results are in and it looks like it was a two-movie race between "Gravity" and Tom Hanks' Somali pirate thriller "Captain Phillips." According to The Wrap, "Gravity" was able to hold off "Captain Phillips'" big opening weekend by once again pulling in big numbers. "Gravity" has been getting a lot of buzz off of great reviews from those who have seen it, which is why it came in first this weekend, pulling in $44 million at the box office. Read More »
Taylor Swift is putting her fame and fortune to good use with the opening of the new $4 million Taylor Swift Education Center at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. This probably shouldn't come as a complete surprise, but Katy Perry is under fire from animal rights organization PETA. Anytime an entertainer uses animals in their movie, TV show, or music video it seems PETA is just a moment away from condemning them. Even Perry and her new single "Roar" aren't invincible from the criticism. NFL Sunday is here and it’s time for week six of the football season. “Thursday Night Football” saw the Chicago Bears edge out the New York Giants to keep Big Blue winless on season. Saturday night's HBO pay-per-view boxing main event featuring Tim Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez was a much needed entertaining fight for the boxing world. Bradley defeated Marquez in what ended up being an evenly matched, and more importantly, a very entertaining fight. Bradley defended his welterweight title in Vegas and managed to remain unbeaten. The Michigan Wolverines and Penn State Nittany Lions will be playing this evening in one of Saturday's bigger college football games. The Big Ten rivals are both having solid seasons as the No. 18 ranked Wolverines try to stay undefeated while heading into University Park.
