Comedian Jimmy Pardo Inks TV Deal with Conan O'Brien's Production Company

Whether you know comedian Jimmy Pardo from his award-winning Never Not Funny podcast, or his frequent appearances on TBS’ CONAN, it’s certain that you’ll soon be seeing him or hearing more about him very soon. It’s being reported that the famed comic has inked a deal with Conan O’Brien’s TV production company Conaco to create both scripted and unscripted television shows. According to reports from Variety, the stand up recently made the deal with Conaco, which is under the Warner Bros. TV group. Read More »

'Seinfeld' To Be Streamed on Hulu

A while back, MStars News reported that there were some struggles in the whole Seinfeld-Netflix deal. But finally, it seems they've reached an agreement... with Hulu. Yes, word has it that Seinfeld is going to Hulu for roughly $700,000 an episode. You read that correctly –– $700k per episode. So, it would seem certain to say that creators Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David are about to get much, much wealthier. Which is good because we hear they are struggling (cue the eye roll). Anyway, many people speculated that the famed NBC comedy would be going to Netflix, largely because that streaming service purchased Friends for $500k. And while things were going somewhat smoothly, things took a turn when Netflix offered money for a five-year contract. Read More »

The comedian stopped by last night, briefly touched on his web series – which has just dropped the lineup for a new season – and proceeded to scold letterman for quitting his Late Show spot. Dave Chappelle Drunk Stand Up Set [VIDEO] Causes Angry Fans To Demand Refunds

Comedian Dave Chappelle had one hell of a tough night during his stand up set a few nights ago at the Fillmore Detroit. It's being reported that the famed Chappelle's Show star angered the heck out of fans when he was giving a subpar performance, because, well, he was drunk. Allegedly, that is. Though... it seems pretty certain that he was. Now, because of his "performance," those in attendence want their money back. According to reports from TMZ, Chappelle angered the crowd at this past Thursday's 9:30 p.m. show. The site notes that the Half Baked star was "wasted" as he took to the stage an hour late. Feds Forced to Respect State Marijuana Laws?

The country is slowly ... slowly ... slowly ... slowly legalizing the use of marijuana. As states like Washington and Colorado have already done it (and seen an enormous boost in revenue), there are other states in our great nation trying to do the same. The unfortunate downside of marijuana being legal in states is that it is still illegal in the country. What that means is that the federal government still has control over the state marijuana laws. Which leads to marijuana busts and a whole heap of a mess. But if California Republican Dana Rohrabacher has his way a new bill proposed, it looks like the Feds will soon have to respect those marijuana laws that states enforce. Read More »
