Last night’s Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Special was an undoubted success. It was hilarious, entertaining and a total feel good piece of material – not to mention nostalgic. No matter the word you choose to describe it, the idea of getting all of those talented individuals, many of whom started on the famed NBC sketch show, into one room was undeniably legendary. ‘SNL’ 40th Anniversary Special [LIVE STREAM] and Red Carpet [PHOTOS]

Well folks—tonight is the night! Saturday Night Live will be airing its live 40th anniversary special, beginning at 8 p.m. At 7 p.m., however, NBC will be airing the red carpet event hosted by hosts of the one and only Today Show. Amy Schumer, Bill Hader Get Romantic In Judd Apatow's 'Trainwreck' [TRAILER]

Comedian Amy Schumer has officially made the jump to movies. It's been a long time coming but it's finally here––the trailer for her first feature film Trainwreck, which the stand up co-wrote with comedy icon Judd Apatow, who also directed the film. Starring the Inside Amy Schumer lead as a reporter in New York, she's assigned a profile piece on a sports surgeon, played by former Saturday Night Live and Skeleton Twins star Bill Hader. It's True ... Jon Stewart Is Leaving 'The Daily Show' [VIDEO]

Sad days ahead, readers! It’s being reported that Jon Stewart is leaving his ever so beloved spot on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show. As an incredible force for not only the network but also the viewers of America – largely because many younger people get their news from people such as Stewart, John Oliver and the once upon a time Colbert Report host Stephen Colbert – Stewart made the announcement of his upcoming retirement during last night’s episode with guest David Axelrod. News of Stewart’s leaving after a whopping 17 years of employment comes just a couple of months after Colbert left his Report for David Letterman’s Late Show seat as well as Larry Wilmore’s premiere for The Nightly Show.
