It's happening folks! Despite delivering an oh, so awkward appearance on the famed Saturday Night Live 40th anniversary special, Eddie Murphy is set to prove to the world that he is still one of the funniest guys around. Therefore, the comedian has signed on to host an episode of SNL sometime next month. Murphy was undoubtedly one of the guys who saved Saturday Night Live back in the 80s; he eventually (and quickly) blew up to become one of the most famous names to come out of the show. Here's Why Trevor Noah is the Perfect ‘Daily Show’ Replacement

By Kyle Dowling |

With all the news surrounding comedian Trevor Noah and the announcement that he'll be taking over for Daily Show host Jon Stewart once he leaves his coveted Comedy Central seat, it looks like the main thing people are asking is: Who is this guy? And, well, maybe it's okay that none of us are too aware of the South African comedian. While far from obscurity, perhaps it's not such a bad thing that the soon-to-be face of "The Best F#@king News Team Ever" isn't a household name... yet. Whenever a late night talk show host leaves their position it seems the Internet goes crazy thinking up preposterous lists that put together a group of people who "We Think Should Be..." the next host. Most of it happens within hours of the host's announcement, and most of them are absolutely ridiculous. For example, we've seen lists with the likes of Louis C.K. Amy Poehler, Amy Schumer, Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, and so many more attached since Stewart's announcement. In fact, was reported that Comedy Central initially considered asking C.K., Poehler and Schumer to take over for The Daily Show. Read More »

Bill Maher Slams Elton John Following Dolce & Gabbana's Gay Adoption Comments

By Kyle Dowling |

Believe it or not, sometimes even liberals are wrong. Don’t worry – if you don’t want to admit it, comedian Bill Maher did it for you this past Friday night on HBO’s Real Time. After Dolce and Gabbana released some rather flattering comments about gay adoption, in which they called children adopted by gay parents as “synthetic children, the world of liberals went ballistic. Which, of course, makes sense to some degree, as the fashion designers’ comments were rather uncaring – despite being gay men. But Maher’s argument here is why fight so much with someone who agrees with you on 95% of other issues. But even that wasn’t enough to please musician Elton John, who called for a boycott against the designers. And well, Maher had some comments about that. Read More »

Jon Stewart Compares Fox News to 18-Year-Olds: "Spend 24 Hours a Day J*rking Yourself Off"

By Kyle Dowling |

Just like an 18-year-old boy, Jon Stewart claims Fox News is "j*rking" itself off. Justin Bieber's Comedy Central roast is coming up tomorrow, March 30. And while we're all uber excited, we can't help but wonder what the comedian's have in store for the singer-turned-"bad boy." Sure, we've read a couple of things online but we can only hope that there's more fire where that all came from. But where to turn for the good material?
