John Mayer doesn't have the same problems the rest of us do. Sometimes he faces public scrutiny by Taylor Swift fans who claim her lyrics are about him. Other times he's dealing with spending more than $5 million on what he believed to be fake Rolex watches. Not long ago Mayer sued his former friend Robert Maron because of the watches and now those charges have been dropped. Looks like John Mayer has a new relationship... with a mailbox. Yep, that's right. While we're all wondering just what the heck is going on with Mayer and his on-again, off-again girlfriend/lover Katy Perry, the musician took some time to post a new photo to his Instagram account, which basically notes that there's someone new. John Mayer certainly is in a nostalgic mood today. Perhaps it is a result of it being Thursday – or 'Throwback Thursday" – but the musician recently took some time to post a couple of photos from the past to his Instagram page. Particularly one of him and an old guitar, which he still plays today, as well as the original scribbling lyrics to his hit song "3x5" off the musician's album Room for Squares. Fans of John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band and Nickelback may want to turn away for this one, because it's being reported that they are three of the most hated bands of the last 20 years. Of course, it's rather hard to believe because anytime you go to their concerts they're typically sold out. Unfortunately, aside from you – and the millions of other people around the world who purchase tickets – they're just, well, hated. A new report from Salon.com notes that Nickelback tops the list as one of the most hated bands around. While they seemed like a match made in music heaven, Katy Perry and John Mayer have officially called it quits on their relationship. While the couple has been on-again/off-again for some time, it seems that this time the split is going to be permanent. That's right: All you Jaty or Kohn shippers out there are going to have to find a new celebrity couple to root for. John Mayer may have been quiet about Taylor Swift for quite some time but it seems he's ready to discuss the pop star.
