NBA Drama: Dwyane Wade's Financial Troubles Caused By Wedding?

By Kenneth Brown | Aug 19, 2014 09:28 AM EDT

There never seems to be a dull day for NBA superstar Dwyane Wade. He is currently getting over the departure of his best friend LeBron James, who left the Miami Heat for the Cleveland Cavaliers. On top of that he's planning for his wedding to Gabrielle Union, the 2014/15 NBA season, and there are rumours that he has financial troubles. Could his wedding, mortgage and losing LeBron financially cripple him? He might need to sell a ton of NBA jerseys before his injury-prone legs give way and his career is done for good. Read More »

NBA Feud & Weight Loss: LeBron James, Dwyane Wade & More

By Kenneth Brown | Aug 13, 2014 12:28 PM EDT

LeBron James may of lost massive amounts of weight, but NBA legend Reggie Miller doesn't think that will slow him down, or Carmelo Anthony, either. The trend this summer has been for superstars to drop weight, in order to become quicker, however, many were quick to point out their weight, size and strength were what made them so difficult to stop. The only thing that will change is LeBron's relationship with good friend Dwyane Wade, who he will now resume a friendly rivalry and feud with again. The pair competed head-to-head, but then became teammates, now LeBron and his team will face Wade's Miami Heat on Christmas Day. Read More »

NBA stars

By Kenneth Brown | Aug 10, 2014 03:49 PM EDT

John Wall may be one of the best players in the NBA, and rookie Andrew Wiggins may soon join him, but the duo have launched scathing attacks on two of their teams. Wall has attacked Team USA, just weeks before the 2014 FIBA World Cup, whilst Wiggins has (privately) verbally assaulted the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Washington Wizards star, Wall, is unhappy at being cut from the World Cup squad, while Wiggins is furious that the Cavaliers are trading him to the Minnesota Timberwolves, and he's apparently told Kansas University officials just that. Are these stars overreacting? Read More »

LeBron James Goes Home

By Kenneth Brown | Aug 09, 2014 05:55 PM EDT

LeBron James told the world he was coming home via the internet, but last night he came back to Akron for his homecoming. Although he's made it clear he wants to be with the Cleveland Cavaliers, last night he proved it's where he belongs with every bone in his body. He made an emotional speech and took to the stage like a popstar, which he admitted himself. He even walked out to Skylar Grey singing "I'm Coming Home". For Ohio, for Cleveland, things couldn't be any more perfect, especially after landing Kevin Love. Read More »

NBA Stars Face Israel & Gaza Trip Cancellation

By Kenneth Brown | Aug 06, 2014 06:11 PM EDT

NBA stars like Russell Westbrook, Derrick Rose, Amare Stoudemire and the retired Magic Johnson are used to getting what they want, but not this time. The superstars were going to visit Israel to support Amare's co-owned basketball team, but the trip has been cancelled due to the Gaza conflict. They planned to visit in September, but sadly they will not be able to do that now. The stars will have to focus on their teams, the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Chicago Bulls and the New York Knicks and their upcoming 2014/15 NBA season instead. Read More »

Bosh Slams James

By Kenneth Brown | Aug 01, 2014 01:48 PM EDT

For four NBA seasons, Chris Bosh and LeBron James were inseparable, however, Bosh thinks James' decision to rejoin the Cleveland Cavaliers will make himself and his Miami Heat team better for it, sort of, anyway. He claims he now has a "revitalized" perception when playing the game, which probably translates along the lines of 'I have to play better now the best player in the NBA has gone'. Read More »
