James Rodriguez To Replace Cristiano Ronaldo?

By Kenneth Brown | Nov 25, 2014 11:28 AM EST

When James Rodriguez had a stunning World Cup and signed for Real Madrid, many thought he was bought to help Cristiano Ronaldo, but could he actually be an early replacement? Both stars are icons for Real, but James is getting glory upon glory, and Ronaldo is continuously linked with a return to Manchester United, which would leave James as the top dog in Spain. James has now announced an underwear sponsorship deal, following Ronaldo's path, but one can wonder, are they hoping to be a duo like NBA superstars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, or is he trying to push Ronaldo out the door? The latest words from the Real camp have come from James, not Cristiano, adding more fuel to the fire. Read More »

By Kenneth Brown | Nov 08, 2014 04:16 PM EST

Mark Wahlberg is a man that often gets what he wants, and it seems that he wants to put Boston back on the map. Firstly, he's helped to convince Tom Brady to ditch the New England Patriots to join the 'Ted 2' movie cast, and now he is trying to convince Kevin Durant and/or Russell Westbrook to join the Boston Celtics. If such a deal takes place, the Celtics will lose Rajon Rondo. Mark seems to have his way in the movie business, with the NBA, and with the NFL, but can he get everything he's after in the coming year or so? Read More »

The Oklahoma City Thunder have one goal, and one goal only, and that's to win an NBA title. However, it seems the basketball world is out to get them. They've had one problem after another for what seems like years. Today it got a whole lot worse. First Kevin Durant was listed as injured, and his fractured foot will see him miss plenty of action, possibly until Christmas. On top of that, OKC are considering trading Westbrook. Could the Thunder survive without the two men they've so heavily relied upon over the years? Read More »

By Kenneth Brown | Oct 03, 2014 02:11 PM EDT

The Oklahoma City Thunder have one mission, and that's to win an NBA championship for the team, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. It's fair to say they've struggled, coming up short in past years, but they believe they can do it this season, but only if Westbrook forgets his recent engagement to Nina Earl. Reports have began to surface, suggesting that' he's trying to out-do Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union, and their wedding, instead of focusing on outdoing him on the basketball court. Rumours have also suggested they're willing to trade him for the right asset. Will he get his head down and focus, or will he and Nina be looking for a new home? Read More »

Carmelo Anthony Hits Out At Rivals

By Kenneth Brown | Oct 02, 2014 01:10 PM EDT

Carmelo Anthony has yet to win an NBA championship, and last season he failed to make the playoffs with the New York Knicks. It seems that's holding him back, at least in his mind anyway. The star has been one of the best in the game for years, yet he is often forgotten about, with Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant and LeBron James receiving far more praise than he does. He is a seven-time All-Star, and he is often a top scorer in the league, yet he doesn't feel like he's respected enough and he's hit out at everyone in the process of explaining why. Read More »

By Kenneth Brown | Sep 17, 2014 10:15 AM EDT

Russell Westbrook thought he had it all. He and Kevin Durant have finally seen the Miami Heat era through, and now it's their time to shine, or is it? Westbrook also recently proposed to Nina Earl, but it seems the newly engaged couple might be on the move, much to Durant's anger. There's talk of him being traded from the Oklahoma City Thunder, to the NBA legends the Boston Celtics with Rajon Rondo coming the other way. Does this trade make sense, or would OKC be messing with something good? The Thunder want an NBA title, but upsetting Durant ahead of free agency just might not work out too well, just ask LeBron James. Read More »

NBA Weddings

By Kenneth Brown | Sep 04, 2014 05:02 PM EDT

NBA superstars often like to out-do one another both on and off the court, and it seems Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook is no exception. The star point guard has proposed to Nina Earl, and rumours suggest he's hoping to better Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union's recent wedding. On top of that he wants to become the face of the NBA, replacing LeBron James, with Nina replacing Savannah James. Then, evidently, he will be looking to push his Thunder team to an NBA title, and of course, both Wade and James might yet again be in his way. Read More »
