Joseph Morgan Teases Rebekah's 'Originals' Return, Klaus's Interaction With Father

By Johnni Macke | Nov 17, 2014 05:10 PM EST

Before tonight's new episode of "The Originals," Joseph Morgan, who plays Klaus Mikaelson on the series, is teasing his future interaction with his father Mikael (Sebastian Roche). The 33-year-old actor is also revealing what's going to happen when Rebekah (Claire Holt) returns for the show's holiday episodes. "It's interesting because he's just become a father as well. So, it's sort of perfect timing for his dad to turn up now. And that's why his mother brought him back I think, because she thinks if anyone can convince Klaus to renounce his vampirism and to be put into a different body, to be a better person, then it's his father," Joseph exclusively told "TV Line." "It's the person he always thought was lacking in his life, someone who can provide the attention he's always craved." He further explained that although his mother has an agenda, his father is actually returning for the right reasons. "Klaus's father, by the way, isn't sort of trying to be a part of any scheme or plan, he genuinely wants to connect with his son and form a relationship with him. But. We'll just have to see if there's a part of Klaus that's capable of that. I think there's potential," he told the publication. As for the return of Klaus's sister Rebekah, it will be a much-needed reunion for the siblings. Rebekah's return will take place before the midseason break in a two-episode arc. "There's some really sort of heartwarming stuff from the family coming back together," the England native explained. "Claire's a mate who's been on this for almost as long as I've been on it, and Daniel's been on it so there's a rapport with the three of us and with Phoebe as well, who was mates with Claire since they were mermaids back in Australia." By Johnni Macke | Nov 16, 2014 07:49 PM EST

Monday night, Nov. 17, marks a new episode of Fox's hit series "Sleepy Hollow." Before the upcoming episode, Nicole Beharie, who plays Abbie Mills on the series, is teasing what to expect and what we can learn about her character's past. "Monday's episode is probably one of the most different episodes that you'll see in Sleepy Hollow because it's actually kind of Abbie just chasing a ghost this time. Ichabod gets a little sick, and Abbie ends up bumping into a ghost better known as her mother," Nicole told "TV Guide." With Abbie's mother coming to the show in ghost form, Abbie's past will come to the forefront of the episode this week. Without Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) as the center of the episode, we'll really see what makes Abbie tick. "There's a legacy. A lot of people in her lineage have been fighting to get her to be this witness at this point. It's definitely something that everyone's been aware of, but she had no idea," the 29-year-old actress explained. "She grew up in foster homes and was completely disconnected from her family, so this will fill in all those little memories ... All of those things that she just thought were dysfunctional actually were supernatural and were preparing her." Read More »
