MStars reported last summer that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 director Marc Webb made the decision to cut Shailene Woodley's scenes as Mary Jane Watson from the superhero sequel. Zack Snyder's Man of Steel sequel, currently known as Batman vs. Superman, was originally scheduled for release on July 17, 2015, but Warner Bros. announced in a press release on Friday that the film has been pushed back to May 6, 2016. Earlier this month, reports were claiming that Breaking Bad star Jesse Plemons was scheduled to meet with J.J. Abrams and audition for a role in the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII movie. As of this week, the director himself has confirmed this news. Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has had some superpowered characters during its brief run thus far in Season 1, including the origins stories of Graviton and Blizzard.
