Rumors surfaced that Sugar Bear's leg would have to be amputated after a TMZ report stated that he underwent emergency surgery "to treat a nasty infection in a leg wound" after experiencing a bad ATV accident last week. Now that most of the hype and drama over Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' divorce has somewhat settled down, looks like daughter Suri is still "stuck in the middle" of Mommy and Daddy's "fight." While Holmes recently sent 6-year-old Suri off to her first day of school in New York, describing the event as "gut wrenching," Cruise was off in London filming a new movie, warned by Holmes to "stay away" for the monumental event. While South Korean rapper Psy's viral hit "Gangnam Style" has nothing to do with actual gangs, two rival groups in Thailand decided to make the song's dance moves the center of a heated and violent exchange in a recent gun-brandishing shoot-out. According to the Thai news source INN (and translated by the Guardian) young members of two opposing gangs challenged one other in a "Gangnam Style" inspired dance-off - where each individual danced the viral hit's moves "provocatively" until things got out-of-hand and erupted in gun fire in the city of Bangkok. It has been almost 18 years since actor River Phoenix's sudden and unexpected death, leading to an unfinished version of Dutch director George Sluizer's 1993 drama/thriller film "Dark Blood." But now Sluizer has announced that Phoenix will star in his final movie post mortem thanks to the director's own sudden near-death experience. Real-life ball players of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League who served as inspiration behind the hit 1992 film "A League of Their Own" traveled to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY on Friday to take part in an exhibition softball game on Saturday.
