Mayim Bialik Divorce: 'Big Bang Theory' Star to Divorce Husband of Nine Years Michael Stone, 'Attachment Parenting' Not a Factor

"Big Bang Theory" actress and former "Blossom" star Mayim Bialik recently announced in a public blog post on Wednesday (Nov. 21) that she and husband Michael Stone are divorcing after nine years of marriage due to irreconcilable differences. The 36-year-old actress, a strong advocate of "attachment parenting," released the announcement through the popular parenting site Kveller. Bialik insists that her split from Stone has nothing to do with her unique parenting philosophy which requires constant physical interaction with the couple's two young sons, Miles (7) and Frederick (4). According to reports, Columbian songstress Shakira is being sued by her ex-boyfriend Antonio de la Rua for 63 million pounds (over a whopping $100 million) for unpaid earnings. Rua claims that the pregnant "Whenever, Wherever" singer failed to share the ex-couple's business profits with him. Back when the duo were together (they split in 2010 after over a decade-long romance), Shakira supposedly allowed Rua to take over a large portion of responsibility for her Shakira brand. Girl Chained to Dresser Dies: 6-year-old Jersey Bridgeman Chained Up with Dog Choke Collar by her Father Last Year Now Dead, Homicide

Jersey Bridgeman, an Arkansas girl who made headlines last year when her father chained her to a dresser with a metal dog choke collar and leash, died on Tuesday (Nov. 20) at the young age of 6. Approximately 10 minutes after Bridgeman was reported missing on Tuesday, her lifeless body was found in a nearby vacant house. Bentonville police are currently investigating the case and have since determined Bridgeman's unfortunate death a homicide (the girl's father was arrested for child abuse last year and still resides in jail). Apple's longtime pit bull friend was once used in a dog fighting ring - the 35-year-old pianist rescued Janet as a puppy at Los Angeles' Echo Park. The canine suffers from Addison's disease and has a major tumor in her chest - she does not have much longer to live. Ivan Aranto Herrera Jorge and Carl Magnus Lindgren, two senior U.K. chefs who worked at celebrity cook Heston Blumenthal's award-winning restaurant the Fat Duck in West Berkshire, died in a fatal and horrific car crash during a visit to Hong Kong on Monday (Nov. 19). The accident occurred when a bus traveling downhill smashed into two cars and then manically crossed lanes and crushed the chefs' taxi against another bus. 34-year-old Jorge, 30-year-old Lindgren, and the taxi driver were killed on impact - over an additional 50 people were also injured in the multi-vehicle wreck. Price is Right Model Wins Suit: Brandi Cochran Snags $777,000 in Pregnancy Lawsuit Against Game Show, 'Wide Load' Wins Big

An L.A. Superior Court jury awarded former "The Price is Right" model Brandi Cochran an outstanding sum of $776,944 on Tuesday (Nov. 20) in a lawsuit the 41-year-old beauty filed against producers of the popular game show because of discrimination against her 2010 pregnancy. According to reports, Cochran was thoroughly insulted when her bosses over at CBS fired her for getting pregnant and taking a disability leave of absence when complications arose in her pregnancy. She was also the subject of ongoing backstage verbal abuses, with one staffer even deeming her a "wide load." During the time of her absence, she was ultimately released from the show altogether. The former model sued for wrongful termination and cruel treatment - she was recently awarded over $776,000 and she could receive even more in damages if the producers are found to have acted with malicious intent.
