Maroon 5 will perform as the musical guest appearance on the Nov. 17 episode of SNL - the rockers recently starred in a three-part Thanksgiving-esque SNL promo alongside actor Jeremy Renner and funny guy Fred Armisen. This will be Maroon 5's third appearance on the hit sketch comedy show (and Adam Levine's fourth) - the band's last appearance was in November 2011. Missouri police arrested 20-year-old Blaec Lammers on Friday (Nov. 16), after his own mother alerted authorities that she was worried her son was plotting a violent and deadly attack at a local Bolivar movie theater during a packed screening of the highly-anticipated "Twilight" film "Breaking Dawn - Part 2." According to reports, Lammers' mother told law enforcement that she had probable cause to believe that her son "may have intentions of shooting people at the movie" during a Sunday screening - a deadly attack that may have rivaled the Aurora, Colorado shootings by James Holmes in July at a midnight screening of "Dark Knight Rises" if carried out. ESPN NFL Senior Producer Seth Markman reports that former NFL Hall of Famer and coach and current ESPN sports analyst Mike Ditka suffered a minor stroke on Friday (Nov. 16). The former Chicago Bears coach and player insists that he is okay and that the stroke was really "no big deal," but he will continue to rest and recover and will not appear on the network's NFL shows this weekend. Country songstress Deana Carter recently filed for legal separation from her husband of three years, Brandon Malone. The 46-year-old "Strawberry Wine" star filed the separation documents in L.A. County Superior Court earlier this week citing "irreconcilable differences." In the court papers, Carter admits that she and Malone actually split back in August 2011 - they have not been living together ever since. Read More »

Cesar Millan, infamous star of the Nat Geo WILD channel's reality show "Dog Whisperer," recently opened up about a 2010 suicide attempt following a low point in his life in which he lost his top dog (Daddy) to cancer and went through a divorce from his wife of 16 years, Ilusion. Millan now opens up a new chapter of his life, starring in the Nat Geo WILD show Leader of the Pack (premiering in January 2013) and embarking on a fresh love adventure with girlfriend Jahira Dar. Millan candidly opens up about all these intimate experiences in an upcoming Nat Geo Wild documentary, "Cesar Millan: The Real Story" (airing Nov. 25). Drug charges against Jon Bon Jovi's 19-year-old daughter, Stephanie Rose Bongiovi, were dropped on Thursday (Nov. 15) because of a 2011 amendment made in New York City law which applies to "overdose cases in which there was a call for help." Bongiovi was arrested on Wednesday at her Hamilton College dormitory for drug possession after police found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in her room. She was rushed to the hospital late that night after suffering from a supposed heroin overdose. Bongiovi was released and is now in stable condition - sources close to Bon Jovi's family insist that Bongiovi's overdose came a as a sad and unfortunate shock to her loved ones. Read More »
Rumors have it that Taylor Swift and "One Direction" heartthrob Harry Styles were getting their flirt-on backstage during a recent "X-Factor" rehearsal - and judge Demi Lovato doesn't have much to say about it. Many witnesses, including new "X-Factor" host Mario Lopez, witnessed Swift and Styles getting cozy backstage. Looks like Bravo channel's Jeff Lewis is currently "Flipping Out" over assistant Jenni Pulos for her new upcoming tell-all book, "Hang in There, Baby -- What One of the World's Most Difficult Bosses Taught Me About Life, Work and Love" (shortened to just "Hang in There, Baby"). The memoir has yet to even be released and Lewis has already sued his reality show sidekick for supposed breach of a confidentiality agreement. 42-year-old Lewis is asking for "a preliminary and permanent injunction" against Pulos from "publishing any and all facts/or references to events . . . related in any manner to personal, private, property and confidential information." Frederick Humphries, aka the "Shirtless" FBI Agent, did send a bare-chested photo of himself posing between two target dummies to military liaison and socialite Jill Kelley, but it was meant as a total tongue-in-cheek joke, not in any way as a "sexual innuendo." But because agent Humphries was the one to spark off the FBI investigation that ousted David Petraeus' highly-controversial extramarital affair with Paula Broadwell, investigators had to look into it.
