The death of MTV's "The Real World" star, Diem Brown, who sadly passed away on Nov. 14 after her battle with cancer, has touched many people's hearts, as she was such a vivacious and full-of-life woman taken way too young. The inspirational reality star is sorely missed and that sentiment has inspired "Beautiful Girls (Diem's Dong)" written and recorded by Diem's friend, "Real World: Denver" contestant and "Duel 2" castmate, Davis Mallory. Kendra Wilkinson has returned from Australia after her "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here" eviction and she has not exactly fallen into the arms of her allegedly cheating husband (and "Kendra On Top" co-star), Hank Baskett. There was a chilly reception at LAX from Kendra for her love-rat hubby, who has been accused of cheating on his wife of five years with a transsexual model named Ava Sabrina London, and the divorce rumors that have followed the couple seemingly won't be quieted. The Brooklyn Nets are looking to trade their star Big Three -- Deron Williams, Joe Johnson and Brook Lopez, according to reports. With the Nets season looking like it could slip away at any moment and the team playing a disjointed, incohesive style that has them mired in the middle of the NBA pack, could they ship one or all three of their highly-paid stars out to the LA Lakers, Orlando Magic or Sacramento Kings? A host of NBA stars, including LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Garnett, and Deron Williams, took on racism alongside Jay-Z, wearing 'I Can't Breathe' t-shirts and making their statement regarding race relations at the protested British royal-attended Cleveland Cavaliers-Brooklyn Nets game in Brooklyn last night. The 'I Can't Breathe' slogan were the last words from slain man Eric Garner, who died after being put in a chokehold, and with Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton in the building, the NBA players made their point, saying "it's not a black-or-white issue, it's a people issue". "Top Five," Chris Rock's new movie that he wrote and directed and stars in — is all about lists. So who are Chris Rock and Jimmy Fallon's top five rappers of all time in 2014? The answers are surprising, to say the least, and alongside illustrious names like Jay-Z, Eminem, Nicki Minaj, Drake and Kanye West, there are also a couple of not-so-famous names. Appearing on "The Tonight Show" last night, Dec. 8, Rock challenged Fallon to offer up his top five rappers of all time, and Fallon, for once in his life, seemed somewhat put on the spot. "First, I've got to say Beastie Boys ... Gosh," he stammered, before listing Jay-Z, Run-DMC, Eminem and, in a shock result, Rappin' Duke, who, as "Rolling Stone" points out is from "a 1983 novelty track by Shawn Brown, who pretends to rap like John Wayne." "Rappin' Duke, huh," teases Rock. "Was it between him and [Sir] Mix-A-Lot?" Read More »

What happens when U.K. royalty meets the U.S. verison? Well, we found out last night as Jay-Z and Beyoncé met British royal couple Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton, with the royal visit to New York City scoring a meeting between royalty from both sides of the Atlantic. The two couples hung out at last night's game between LeBron James's Cleveland Cavaliers and the Brooklyn Nets, while protests were staged outside the arena. Brooklyn's own royal couple — hip-hop kingpin Jay-Z and Queen of R&B Beyoncé — took the opportunity to meet William and Kate on the court before the start of the fourth quarter of the game, and the two power couples chatted and exchanged pleasantries in a meeting of two different worlds. How nice of Jay-Z and Beyonce to address the commoners pic.twitter.com/viVHMlh5I9 — devin kharpertian (@uuords) December 9, 2014 The much-anticipated meet-and-greet between the two couples was displayed on the Barclays Center JumboTron in full, with NBA legend Dikembe Mutombo — who was sitting with Prince William and obviously showing him the finer points of the game — also getting some face time with Jay and Bey. As the royal pair entered the arena in the third quarter, the majority of the Brooklyn crowd stood to watch the royal pair take their seats amid much security and photo-taking, as a buzz hit the arena as though it was an NBA playoff game. It left Cleveland star Kevin Love, who was shooting free throws at the time, almost forgotten. Read More »
The St. Louis Rams have seen their fair share of controversy in the past week — with the events of Ferguson still close by, and their "Hands Up, Don't Shoot" statement before last week's Oakland Raiders game — but at least they've still got a healthy sense of humor. In a show of expert trolling against the Washington Redskins on Sunday, the team sent out the six rostered players that they received in the trade with Washington for their 2012 No. 2 pick — which Washington then used on Robert Griffin III — for the coin flip as honorary captains. With RG3 currently also in Washington coach Jay Gruden's doghouse, it was a salient, funny point showing up their opponent by displaying just how much they gave up for a now-backup quarterback. It seems like no one is safe from rapper Azealia Banks' vitriol, with people who don't eat animal products coming under attack from the controversial hip hop star. Azealia launched into a bizarre and typically bracing rant against vegans on her official twitter, with the "212" singer telling people who "wear paper shoes and rub lemons on their armpits" to "GO AWAY!" Whether this new "beef" was in response to vegans being a particular vocal group among people not buying her finally-released debut album Broke With Expensive Taste, or for some other reason was unclear. Either way, it was highly entertaining, and somewhat confusing. Read More »

Amid stories of making out with Paris Hilton, hard partying at strip clubs and making it rain in Miami, Miley Cyrus and new boyfriend Patrick Schwarzenegger are reportedly having the time of their lives. The "Wrecking Ball" star — who broke off her engagement to "Hunger Games" actor Liam Hemsworth late last year — has put all the 2014 dating rumors to rest with the hunky Patrick, and the two seem to love each other's company and partying as hard as possible. But are Patrick's parents, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, upset at the influence the pop star is having on their son and not approving of Miley's "wild ways"? The "Business Standard" is reporting a "Closer" magazine source saying that "Miley is really smitten with Patrick, but his family are less impressed with the new romance ... They don't approve of Miley's wild ways." "Maria has warned Patrick that Miley might become a bad influence and she doesn't want her to lead her son astray," the source continued. "Arnold has come down pretty hard on the relationship, too. He doesn't like the type of fame Miley attracts and isn't keen on that sort of relationship for him," they add. Read More »
Are you ready to get dunked right back into the lives of Hannah, Shoshanna, Jessa and Marnie? We hope so, becuase the upcoming fourth season of Lena Dunham's "Girls" is promising to deliver plenty of laughs and drama, with the hit HBO show's latest promo offering up plenty of heartache and giggles.
