"Top Five," Chris Rock's new movie that he wrote and directed and stars in — is all about lists. So who are Chris Rock and Jimmy Fallon's top five rappers of all time in 2014? The answers are surprising, to say the least, and alongside illustrious names like Jay-Z, Eminem, Nicki Minaj, Drake and Kanye West, there are also a couple of not-so-famous names. Appearing on "The Tonight Show" last night, Dec. 8, Rock challenged Fallon to offer up his top five rappers of all time, and Fallon, for once in his life, seemed somewhat put on the spot. Gosh," he stammered, before listing Jay-Z, Run-DMC, Eminem and, in a shock result, Rappin' Duke, who, as "Rolling Stone" points out is from "a 1983 novelty track by Shawn Brown, who pretends to rap like John Wayne." What happens when U.K. royalty meets the U.S. verison? Well, we found out last night as Jay-Z and Beyoncé met British royal couple Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton, with the royal visit to New York City scoring a meeting between royalty from both sides of the Atlantic. The two couples hung out at last night's game between LeBron James's Cleveland Cavaliers and the Brooklyn Nets, while protests were staged outside the arena. Brooklyn's own royal couple — hip-hop kingpin Jay-Z and Queen of R&B Beyoncé — took the opportunity to meet William and Kate on the court before the start of the fourth quarter of the game, and the two power couples chatted and exchanged pleasantries in a meeting of two different worlds. The St. Louis Rams have seen their fair share of controversy in the past week — with the events of Ferguson still close by, and their "Hands Up, Don't Shoot" statement before last week's Oakland Raiders game — but at least they've still got a healthy sense of humor. In a show of expert trolling against the Washington Redskins on Sunday, the team sent out the six rostered players that they received in the trade with Washington for their 2012 No. 2 pick — which Washington then used on Robert Griffin III — for the coin flip as honorary captains. With RG3 currently also in Washington coach Jay Gruden's doghouse, it was a salient, funny point showing up their opponent by displaying just how much they gave up for a now-backup quarterback. It seems like no one is safe from rapper Azealia Banks' vitriol, with people who don't eat animal products coming under attack from the controversial hip hop star. Azealia launched into a bizarre and typically bracing rant against vegans on her official twitter, with the "212" singer telling people who "wear paper shoes and rub lemons on their armpits" to "GO AWAY!" Whether this new "beef" was in response to vegans being a particular vocal group among people not buying her finally-released debut album Broke With Expensive Taste, or for some other reason was unclear.
