Kid Rock Calls Out Billboard Music Awards Performers for Lip-Synching: [WATCH] 'Cowboy' Throws Shades, Drops Mic Before Presenting 'Best Rap Song' Award

By lauren-cortez-mstars-news | May 20, 2013 09:29 AM EDT

Kid Rock wasn't nominated for a Billboard Music Award, nor did the "Cowboy" singer perform on Sunday night (May 19), but the "Best Rap Song" presenter still managed to steal the show with the line of the night: "Let's give it up for people lip syncing to pre-recorded music." This "shade" was thrown from the questionably intoxicated "Bawitdaba" singer who rocked shades, an army print vest, a top hat, and a coffee mug to the 2013 BBMA's at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. As if calling out some of the night's performers/"lip-syncers" for not actually singing during their performances wasn't hilarious enough, Kid Rock also dropped the microphone before the "Best Rap Song" nominees (Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Flo Rida, Kanye West, and PSY) were announced. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis ultimately took home the "Best Rap Song" award for their hit song "Thrift Shop" (for those who were too distracted by Kid Rock stumbling to read the card). Kid Rock's apparent sarcastic comment was made within the first hour of the Billboard Awards ceremony, following Selena Gomez's "Come and Get It" performance and Chris Brown's rendition of "Fine China." Danity Kane Reunion: Diddy's 'Damaged' Supergroup 'Making the Band' Without 'Bad Boy' Boss, D. Woods: Aubrey O' Day Tweets Photo of 'Showstoppers' 'Propositional' Comeback

By lauren-cortez-mstars-news | May 14, 2013 07:52 AM EDT

Danity Kane fans: prepare to have your "damaged" hearts fixed... A DK reunion is rumored to be in the works, reports TMZ, who spotted four of the five original "supergroup" members (Aubrey O'Day, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard, and Aundrea Fimbres) having lunch together in Los Angeles on Monday with their "new manager." The former fifth band mate, Wanita 'D. Woods' Woodgette, will reportedly not take part in the upcoming Danity Kane reunion and did not attend lunch with the rest of the group members, Sources tell TMZ that the reunion is "definitely happening" and the four remaining DK ladies "plan to record and tour" without their founder, Diddy. The "Show Stopper" songstresses were first discovered and banded together by Bad Boy Records' Sean "Diddy" Combs back in 2005, during Puff's MTV reality competition/talent search: Making the Band 3. Danity Kane's Bad Boy boss may have been the man responsible for putting the band together, but he was also the man who led to their demise. Diddy got the ball rolling when he first fired Aubrey O'Day from Danity Kane, followed by the removal of D Woods, Shannon, & Aundrea from his label, sparing only Dawn for his own special project (Diddy Dirty Money), which resulted in the disbandment of Danity Kane in 2008, reports RapUp.
