Robin Thicke released the music video for his new song entitled 'Blurred Lines' featuring T.I and Pharrell Williams that will be digitally released on March 26. The "Lost Without You" singer's latest song is the first single off of his upcoming album that he's putting the final touches on, states Huffington Post. The still untitled album marks the 6th studio project for Thicke. VIBE TV spoke with the R&B crooner on the set of his 'Blurred Lines' video shoot, where he revealed details on his forthcoming release. Mayer is back on tour! The announcement of John Mayer's 2013 tour dates comes only days after his split with ex-girlfriend Katy Perry. The "Gravity" singer, who was forced to take 10 months off to treat a throat condition, is finally better and ready to refocus on singing and promoting his 2012 album, "Born and Raised," reveals E! News. The 2013 tour, kicking off July 6th at Milwaukee's SummerFest, will be his first major concert tour in three years following his unfortunate vocal hiatus, Billboard reports. Nearly all of Mayer's concerts will be opened by American Idol winner Phillip Phillips who has strummed his way to the top of the charts this year with his single "Home." Mayer will visit over 40 cities in four countries during the July-October tour, including dates at Colorado's famed Red Rocks (July 16) and the Hollywood Bowl (Oct. 5), as well as festival stops at Luna Park in Buenos Aires, Argentina (Sept. 17), and Rock in Rio in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil (Sept. 21). Jonn Hamm has been having a HUGE problem while filming the sixth season of AMC's Mad Men TV show. Don Draper's 'bulge' is not only bursting the seams in the 1960's-style wardrobe, but his revealing package also must be digitally altered in advertisements, claims NY Daily News. An AMC insider tells Confidenti@l that during filming for the upcoming season of the hit show, which is set in the "tight times" era, Hamm was politely instructed by a staffer at the network to put on underwear while shooting his 'Don Draper' scenes. "This season takes place in the 1960s, where the pants are very tight and leave little to the imagination," a source tells NY Daily News. "Jon's impressive anatomy is so distracting that they politely insisted on underwear." Further, Hamm's crotch area be digitally altered for billboards and bus ads because his bulge is too noticeable in pictures.The source also said that during seasons one and two, AMC's marketing team even had to do some "Photoshop magic" on promotional booklets that went out to press in order to make his private parts more private. According to Variety, Fox 2000 has acquired the rights to the novel and is in negotiations with Witherspoon and her producing partner, Bruna Papandrea, to produce the film through the actress' Pacific Standard production company. 'Red Hot Chili Peppers' drummer Chad Smith notes the importance of music education in schools and is part of a group lobbying Congress this week. While touring the city of Washington, the musician fights for music funding in public schools, according to Rolling Stone, which helped get Smith to where he is today. The 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, has joined forces with National Association of Music Merchants president and CEO Joe Lamond to promote music education in Washington, D.C. on behalf of comprehensive music education in U.S. public schools, reports San Diego Union Tribune. The 51-year-old will spend the next couple of days, along with nearly 30 NAMM representatives, in our nation's capital & will meet with various politicians to make impassioned pleas on behalf of music education in the classroom.
