Julius Randle To Replace Kobe Bryant & Steve Nash?

By Kenneth Brown | Oct 24, 2014 04:44 PM EDT

The Los Angeles Lakers are perhaps the most decorated franchise in the entire NBA, but could both Steve Nash and Kobe Bryant be heading for retirement any day now, leaving room for their rookie Julius Randle to step up to the plate? Their top-ten pick is seen as a top prospect, but they were hoping he could develop under the veteran leadership, and coach Byron Scott. However, some devastating Lakers news might of changed that. Nash is out for the season and closing in on an official retirement date, while Kobe has hinted his isn't far away; so could the rookie Randle be handed the keys to the Lakers' basketball city? Kobe Hates ESPN?

By Kenneth Brown | Oct 17, 2014 06:05 PM EDT

Kobe Bryant is fighting to save his NBA career, and now he has to prove to himself, the Los Angles Lakers and everyone else, that he's still the same Kobe he was a year or so ago. ESPN can be added to that list. They ranked Bryant as the 40th best player in the league for this season, and it seems the veteran shooter isn't too happy with the criticism. Not only does Kobe have to prove himself again this season, he's now at war with ESPN, and it seems that he's not ready to hold back, slamming them in his latest statement. Read More »

Kobe Bryant Running From The NBA?

By Kenneth Brown | Oct 15, 2014 09:23 AM EDT

Kobe Bryant has dominated the NBA for what seems like forever, but after being riddled with injuries and his Los Angeles Lakers falling apart, many are questioning how they will perform in the upcoming season. The veteran sharp-shooter struggled in a recent preseason game, as did the Lakers, and Kobe immediately took himself and his family to Disneyland in an attempt to escape, and forget what looks set to be a miserable and possibly final season in the NBA. Will Kobe tarnish his long-living reputation with one bad season? Read More »

Is Carmelo Anthony The Best In The NBA?

By Kenneth Brown | Oct 13, 2014 06:57 PM EDT

With an injury to Kevin Durant, a new team for LeBron James and Kobe Bryant approaching the end of his career, could this be the year the New York Knicks's Carmelo Anthony dominates across the NBA scoring categories, and could he win an NBA title? Without a doubt he's one of the best in the league, but will personal success be enough for the forward? He will have his struggles regardless, which he has stunningly admitted a matter of weeks before the season. Read More »

Carmelo Anthony Hits Out At Rivals

By Kenneth Brown | Oct 02, 2014 01:10 PM EDT

Carmelo Anthony has yet to win an NBA championship, and last season he failed to make the playoffs with the New York Knicks. It seems that's holding him back, at least in his mind anyway. The star has been one of the best in the game for years, yet he is often forgotten about, with Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant and LeBron James receiving far more praise than he does. He is a seven-time All-Star, and he is often a top scorer in the league, yet he doesn't feel like he's respected enough and he's hit out at everyone in the process of explaining why. Read More »

NBA, Rap & NFL Join Forces

By Kenneth Brown | Sep 15, 2014 01:41 PM EDT

Not so long ago Ray Rice, 50 Cent and Carmelo Anthony were three of the biggest stars America had to offer, but after a bad year or two it seems like they have been forgotten about - in some ways at least. The stars are hoping to take the NFL, rap game and NBA by storm in 2014/15, and they may join forces to do just that. A video has emerged showing Fiddy being Carmelo's bodyguard as reporters attempted to bring up the Rice saga whilst following him across the street. With Fiddy and Carmelo as one, could they both get back to the top of their game this year, and will Rice get another shot in the NFL? Read More »

NBA Drama For Cleveland Cavaliers

By Kenneth Brown | Sep 04, 2014 02:32 PM EDT

The Cleveland Cavaliers have just added NBA superstars LeBron James and Kevin Love as a supporting cast for point guard Kyrie Irving, but the star today got injured at the FIBA World Cup. Team USA are tipped to win the basketball World Cup at ease, and so far there's little to suggest otherwise. They stormed to a 95-71 win over Ukraine, but they lost Kyrie in the process, who suffered a horrific fall, which resulted in him needing help to get back to the locker room. Will the injury-prone Irving recover in time for the final, if USA get there? Read More »

NBA stars like Russell Westbrook, Derrick Rose, Amare Stoudemire and the retired Magic Johnson are used to getting what they want, but not this time. The superstars were going to visit Israel to support Amare's co-owned basketball team, but the trip has been cancelled due to the Gaza conflict. They planned to visit in September, but sadly they will not be able to do that now. The stars will have to focus on their teams, the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Chicago Bulls and the New York Knicks and their upcoming 2014/15 NBA season instead. Read More »
