Mark Ruffalo is doing special things with the Incredible Hulk. For one, he has claimed the role of Bruce Banner for more than one movie. Since it seems like he's here to stay, it's interesting to see what direction the character will take, and one prediction is 'Planet Hulk.' The WWE and UFC have been doing a lot of cross promotions as of late, and it looks like another fighter from the octagon might be coming over to the sports entertainment realm. Next month, former UFC fighter Matt Riddle will be participating in a WWE tryout in Orlando. She has done a lot of great things in film, from being the Black Widow in 'The Avengers' to having a small yet entertaining cameo as the girlfriend to the oblivious-to-Twitter cook in 'Chef' to working with Woody Allen. Now it's rumored that she may be taking up the iconic role of Julie Adams in the Universal Pictures remake of 'The Creature from the Black Lagoon.' Everyone talks about fantasy crossovers. One that comes to mind is a potential Sony X-Men/Fantastic Four film and while that one is cool to think about, a crossover of epic proportions just happened and it makes that idea just another monthly singular issue that comes and goes. 50 Cent has announced in Fortune Magazine that he'll be working with Marvel. While he won't be in any movies for now, what he will be doing is making special edition comic headphones with his company, SMS Audio. The Entertainment Software Association is here to say that they don't want anyone restoring older videogames who have long since been abandoned by their publishers. According to them, this is on par with hacking and Internet piracy. It looks like the long-standing war on older SNES, Sega Genesis and Gameboy roms and emulators will continue. Read More »
Today's the big day. "Daredevil" debuts on Netflix and for comic book fans, it's sort of like Christmas if Christmas came once every 13 years and Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner decided to take over as Mr. and Mrs. Claus one year. Coming into its first day on the net, "Daredevil" already has a special feel to it because rarely do Netflix originals get any hype unless it's to promote a second season. "House of Cards" is a huge show but nobody was excited for it weeks before its debut. The new super hero series starring Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy and Scott Glenn as Stick has gotten rave reviews and it's only been up a few hours. On Wednesday, April 8, Tyler, the Creator surprised fans in a big way. If you want more Tyler, not only will you have the chance to check out his new magazine 'Golf Magazine' and his new app Tyler's Golf, but the Odd Future leader said his latest album 'Cherry Bomb' is on the way. The best part is that fans won't have to wait long because the album is dropping April 13. With the big announcement, Tyler also gave fans a taste of the album. 'The Simpsons' have been around for so long they've seen a lot of things come and go. Phones went from kitchen items to everyday tools. The show even survived two Bush administrations. There's one more thing they may outlast, though, and that's DVDs as 'Simpsons' showrunner Al Jean said they're ending the production of seasonal DVDs. According to him, that market is dying. If the DVD really is on its last legs, it's funny to think that 'The Simpsons' are older than it. The show debuted in 1989 and the DVD was first released in 1995. The only thing better than Pokémon is food, and Missouri-based pancake artist Daniel Drake, better known as Dan the Pancake Man, has combined the two. Dan created the idea of Pikachu, Charizard, Mewtwo and Jigglypuff Pokémon-themed pancakes as a fry cook looking to make better tips. The idea worked but in the end it turned into so much more. Mischa Barton may not have been acting for the three seasons she went to war with her mom on the 'The O.C.' because these days Barton is suing her real-life mother. Barton claims her mother stole money from endorsement deals and acting gigs. In the suit, Barton also claims her mother, Nuala Barton, kicked her out of a multimillion-dollar Beverly Hills home that she made with the 'O.C.' The elder Barton served as Mischa's manager for most of her acting career. The Jason Bateman and Michael Cera cult classic 'Arrested Development' has always been in a state of flux. When Fox canned the show after Season 3, fans wondered if it would ever return.
