It would appear safe to say that Olivia Munn’s road to stardom has been a rather interesting one. The actress kicked off her career studying journalism, then moved to playing a faux reporter for Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and finally a fictional journalist on HBO’s The Newsroom opposite Dumb and Dumber To’s Jeff Daniels. So, we guess you could say that journalism was always in Munn’s blood… just not enough to do it for a living, of course. Lena Dunham's sexual abuse controversy is still not dying down, and now the "Girls" star has released a statement to "Time" magazine apologizing for the provocative book excerpt. As "MStars News" reported, in Lena's memoir "Not That Kind of Girl," she writes about opening her younger sister Grace Dunham's private parts after being curious to see what was in them. In another passage, she even calls her actions toward her sister like a sexual predator. This led to writers on the conservative blog Truth Revolt to say the HBO star molested her sister, which made her lash out all over social media. In her new comment on the controversy, Lena wanted to clarify her previous statements, including a passage from the book. Read More »
HBO’s Real Time host Bill Maher was, and is still, scheduled to present the commencement speech at Berkeley this coming December. But after some comments Maher made during his recent debate with Gone Girl star Ben Affleck back on Oct. 3, some students at the university decided to start a petition of Change.org that aims to stop Maher from speaking at the UC Berkeley graduation. Lena Dunham is fighting mad after a politically conservative blog accused the "Girls" star of molesting her younger sister. The writers, Keven D. Williamson and Bradford Thomas, wrote on the "Truth Revolt" website that Lena described sexually abusing her baby sister in her book "Not That Kind of Girl." The passage they site is a story about how Lena was curious to see what a vagina looked like and looked at her sister Grace's privates to know for herself. Read More »
