It’s being reported that Taylor Negron, an actor who consistently maintained a recognizable face in some of the biggest films and televisions in Hollywood history – including Friends, Seinfeld and the 1980s film Fast Times at Ridgemont High – has passed away at the age of 57. Negron died just yesterday (Saturday, Jan. 10), and was found by his cousin, Chuck Negron. Back in 2005, fans of Lisa Kudrow immediately found themselves thrilled at the fact that the former Friends star was returning to television as Valerie Cherish in HBO’s The Comeback. And while it only lasted one season, that didn’t stop fans from clamoring and yearning for more of the oh, so persistent actress. Well, nine years later, they finally got their wish when HBO decided to revisit the series for an eight-episode, second season which ended earlier tonight with Kudrow’s character winning herself an Emmy for her new show Seeing Red – created by her Season 1 “nemesis” Paulie G (played by actor Lance Barber). Fans of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm have been pining for more of the famed comedy series since Season 8 ended back in 2011. Unfortunately, nothing has been done, especially when it was announced that creator Larry David was putting on his own Broadway show in New York City titled Fish in the Dark. While we can see him there when the show opens up in earlier 2015, the rest of the cast have been left to fend for themselves… which obviously hasn’t been a big deal considering they’re all wonderfully talented people. One Curb standout, J.B. Smoove – who came onto the series in Season 6 as Leon Black and totally rocked the series into a new level – has been having quite a bit of fun.
